I know this has been asked quite a bit but I thought id ask again while scraping through the forums

Just found out my driver side leaf spring snapped and im looking to finally upgrade and what to see what everybody is currently running, im know of the EMUs & Icon kits and also the tremor swap but wasn't sure if there were any other better options?

At the moment im currently not expecting any heavy loads but I have purchased a contractors cap that I plan to camp out of in the future so I guess safe to assume id eventually have the typical overland equipment build in the back to give you an idea of weight id be carrying

I am running the ROW springs, but don't think they are an option any longer.

I am looking at the Icon springs currently, but I'm curious if you know as to why the global springs aren't an option. I believe the part # is jb3c-5560-te for anyone looking. One seller has the new in England and does not ship to the United States.

I just figured with the shipping costs now that it would make them out of reach. There was a thread about it on here but I don't have any links anymore.

The global wildtrak springs. They're pretty good.

Icon are fine for stock weight. Once you start adding weight, they can't keep up. I have the OME 2.2" and they are good. Several of my Ranger friends have switched to the Dobinsons and really like them. @AndyMedic had the OME and switched to Dobinsons and is much happier with the Dobs.

I plan to switch to the Dobs.

I'm running ICON Multi Rate Leaf Pack with the "Add a leaf". Don't run them, I bought them prior to seeing all the reviews about them squeaking. All they do is squeak non stop. It doesn't matter that they're torqued to spec it doesn't matter if you torque them lifted or not. Doesn't matter if you grease the hell out of them. They will squeak with every slightly bump or wobble of the vehicle. Parking lots sound like I'm driving an old rusted beater around.

Aside from that they work perfectly...

Someone on here tried to warn me but I'd already received them and others said they had them and that they were fine.

When I have a bit more money that I don't want to spend on other bits of kit I'll swap them.

If you want functional and quiet go with Old Man Emu leafs instead.
