What is the best Ranger color?

My mustang was Oxford white and I had the worst time keeping it clean. All the dust and soot I'm the air around here and it would be dingy and lackluster within a day after nearly every wash.

Well I have owned 8 blue vehicles: 68 Pontiac Lemans , 71 dodge dart, 79 Oldsmobile omega, 94 Chevy S10 , 2000 dodge 1500, 2008 dodge ram 2500, 18 jeep compass, and now the prettiest one of all my 2019 Ford Ranger that changes shades in the light of day. The Lemans I bought in 1969 after I got out of the Marines which has been a few years back but of all my blue vehicles the Ranger is way nicer in color as well as options.

I guess If I could rank them, it would be Saber,Blue and magnetic, then black...I only got the black because is what they had in hand at that price. What I wish the 5G had was the old Forest Green on my 1994 Ranger...

I just drove to a nearby dealer to look at their 2020 ranger Lariat in rapid red and I could not tell the difference between 19 ranger chili pepper red and the rapid red on the 2020 ranger; online, the rapid red is more like my flame red ram but in person it is darker and is same red as the 2019 Ranger. The auto manufacturers have their names for all their colors. Who knows maybe they are the same only with a small shade variation and in bright sunlight they have a different hue. Oh, the truck was very dirty too, but even when my lightning blue is dirty it looks good.

I purposely waited until the 2020 ordering specs were out in hopes of a dark metallic blue being offered like my '00 SuperCab had, as well as the 2 F-series before it.
No such luck, so I went the complete opposite of the color spectrum and got a "Rapid Red Tri-coat metallic" finish instead.

Agreed. If there was a green one, I probably would've gotten that one. Depending on the shade of course. But it at least would've made me have to think a lot about it.

I was looking for a clean one like that before I bought the '19. The prices were crazy.

I still regret turning it in - 2010 with 19,000 miles and 10 years worth of upgrades. I did get a heck of a trade in, though. Someday, I'll learn.

Hi Folks,

When I turned in my 2007 Regular Cab SWB Ranger with 2.3l M5OD, with 34,000 miles for my 2019 Ranger, it had a shelf life of less than 15 minutes before one of the Dealership personnel bought it! Trucks here in the Southwester part of Arizona are in demand and prices are quite high... Many end up in Mexico...
