Mine was also a FX4. I'm happy you like being lifted. For me, I like being able to get in the bed without a step stool and, also, being able to see the roof - which has a sun roof. Power back window is also nice. :)

That piece under the lights and grill looks like an after thought - they had a big gaping hole and just stuck it on there to cover it. After watching several videos of the 2025, I have no regrets getting a 2024. :like:

The Mav tailgate can be set in a half-way open position. 4x8 plywood can be put on top of the wheel wells and supported by the tailgate. :thumbsup:

One of the things that nudged me into a 2024 were the pictures of the 2025 front end. What were they thinking? :frown:

From the get go, my major complaint has been that the Ranger was just gosh darn too big. That and the fact that it was a 10 year-old Australian gussied up as a new American. Traded it for a Maverick. Virtually all the same tech with a couple of extras in a smaller package. Still Hot Pepper...

I traded my 2010 Ranger in on my 2019 Ranger. Still have regrets. :(

It's not the life of the battery, it's Ford's wacky computerized charging system and the electrical parasites. I got a new battery and 2 months later, the truck was back to its old electrical shenanigans. :(

On a serious note, I forgot about the battery. I have very low mileage on my 2019. Frequently, only the drivers door touch works and I get the shut down message. I replaced the battery once, but only one thing seems to help. I take it out on the highway at high speed for 3 to 4 hours and...

I'm in the same 2019 boat. Tailgate doesn't damp and no matter what I do, steering wheel stays cold. :(

I can commiserate. When I updated the head unit in my Mazda 2, I had a want list that included a CD player. Almost impossible to get. But, I don't use it for music. I spend a lot of down time in parking garages waiting for my SO to finish doctor's appointments and treatments. Watching...

Before you get all crazy . . . power your iPhone all the way off and then restart it. You can also go into the settings and delete the last update. Apple has a habit of updating without telling you and not caring what they screw up. :(

OK, dumb question. If Ford thought they could get rid of it and save a nickle, would not it be gone? :rolleyes:
