10k minimum....I got side swiped by a UPS truck in a snow storm, and the damage to my truck was the entire right side; the bulk in the front right quarter. Initial insurance assessment ~10k. truck gets to the body shop and they find an additional 8k worth of damage, including windshield, front...
Yes but the tonneau barely fits, the head rest seat covers don' fit the new ones and the locking lugs for the weathertech mats are in the wrong location/nonexisting on the passenger side. The rear fits fine. My swing out cargo box needs a different bracket to work and don't see a spot to attach...
Yes, I can...and I did! I signed today and walked out with an 84 month, 120k mile bumper to bumper warranty. About the pictures, I've been having some issues posting pictures from my phone lately...don't know if it's me ot my phone (android). I gotta hit MBS with another dipstick order, a fumoto...
It's official, folks...the Black Beast of Aaaaaggghhhhh...is no more. Total loss. Will be replacing with a charcoal grey 2024 Ranger STX 4x4. more deets soon!
I got an estimate for almost 11k to repair the damage...the truck got picked up and it's off to the body shop. I'm going to guess (wildly) that it will be more like 15k when all is said and done
Well, this could be the end of the Black Beast of Aaagh....side swiped a UPS truck that lost control in front of me on a snow covered road just before I lost control and hit him. All safe and limped home 50 miles with serious damage to the RH lower A arm...sad
That happens to my truck once in a while. The buttons reset if I shut off vehicle, remove key, open the door, wait 30 seconds, then restart. It's weird. Sometimes it will happen right away, sometimes an hour into a trip. It might have to do with power management (that's my theory), because it...
Black beast is quickly approaching 50K miles (49,500), changing oil every 5k miles (Motorcraft synth blend), and getting ready to change tranny :lipssealed:fluid at next interval via MBS dipstick. No motor or tranny issues (knock on wood).
Mike
it has nothing to do with the rim or the tire...the spare is not balanced to the rim, hence the 50 mph limit. Want to be able to drive faster on your spare? get it balanced
Ha! I got my key stuck on that darn thing once, while changing a flat tire during a snow storm....oh, the curses...(!@#$%^&*!!).
Soon after that I started doing 5 tire rotations, so I'm working the lock every 5k miles and dousing it with WD-40.
