personally, i think only dogs should get names. Cats shouldn't, and definitely anyone who names their truck has brain damage.

Calling them brain damaged is harsh, but I have never felt the need to call an inanimate object by anything other then what it is or the model name. I don't like cats, I don't like human names given to dogs, and generally I find the idea of naming a vehicle annoying and cliché, but people are free to do whatever they want. If they want to name their truck more power to them.

This is my dog. His name is Barkley.

Do most of you use a girls name for your Ranger?

How did you come up with that name?

I’ve named mine Chloe, as I’ve always loved that name…and don’t find it very popular anymore… which makes it perfect for me.

"CRUSH" as in Orange Crush and/or crushing rocks.

Betty Ford 3. Betty Ford was a 99 F150, Betty Ford 2 was my 2020 Ranger. I had a 99 Ranger, but she was Betty White. Had a Rhino Lined 88 F150 that was Black Betty. My Ram was also Black Betty. And one of my Jeeps was Betty Rubble

Ive had a few vehicles with names, like my 2001 Ranger was called "Robert"(Red Ford)
Now we use mostly the names they came with....
The Transit Connect is "The TC"
The Pinto is simply " The Pinto"
The Mustang ) is "The Mustang"
The Ranger ( you guessed it...) "The Ranger"

Finally....
Out of respect for seniority , my 1950 Custom Deluxe is
Simply called by its Surname "the FORD"
