What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Put some more corn out for the deer and hogs. The fence is for keeping the hogs out. But still put some out for them since I like sausage and pork chops lol.

Last Monday/Tuesday I took my first short drive/camping trip since the knee replacement. Knee still not where it should be, but I’ve seen enough of the house!

Drove over the mountain into NC. Robbinsville, Bryson City, night camping at Standing Indian Campground, Hayesville, Nantahalla Old River Road, Robbinsville and home.

Lots of Sport Mode time on Foothills Parkway and the Dragon going and coming home!

Knee does not enjoy sitting in the vehicle for long stretches .

Did manage a little fly fishing being very careful. One small rainbow in the campground.

Getting into the topper for bed was interesting with my new knee…it sucked

Beautiful drive. Campground was too crowded for my liking. Love the area, but looking for dispersed camping next time.

Gave the Ranger a bath and a little 303 touchless when I got back.

Drained and refilled the radiator. Approaching 100k.
I've gotten away from doing a full flush. Several times on other vehicles the water pump took a powder not long after I flushed it from the water pump not being lubricated. Coolant is supposed to be good for 150k which I think is ridiculous so I just do a drain and fill every 50k.
Prestone Platinum meets the Ford Spec in the owner's manual.

Camping at the track is my favorite thing to do. I went with the in bed tent, only 15lbs since I don't have much payload play room with tires, tools, timing, computers, myself and all.

With both knees shot I just started looking at fat tire e-bikes. Don’t really know what I'm doing, but right now leaning towards a Heybke Ranger.

I haven't really done anything special with my truck since having my new bronze 17x9 Fuel Shok wheels with +20 offset mounted on the truck. That is except enjoying all of the thumbs up and waves from people on the road. WIN!

P.S. I have tried to post pics using both of the available versions on the forum. I must have disabled something on my phone to keep from being able to post pics. Click on my profile pic to get a better view. That's subject to change, did a photo shoot here on the farm, before the rain came.

Curt Trailer Hitch installed. Will be great to be able to use my bed for stuff while I have the bikes on the bike rack . Also bought the Mockins pickup bed extender for my 16 foot old town canoe . This rack works vertical and horizontal ,so i can carry fence posts, kayaks, and other large items in my 5 foot bed. Only costs $119 on Amazon. Very useful addition for my Ranger. (see photos)

Went camping outside of Flagstaff on the borders of Coconino and Kaibab National forests. Explored the Lava River Cave, drove out to the "Edge of the World", and got the truck all dusty and muddy exploring.
