Looked, lovingly, at Soupie through the bathroom window this morning. Portsmouth's first snow!!! =)

I was born in Quebec City in March and have always been excited at first snow. Yes, even at 61, I run out and catch a few snowflakes on my tongue. Gotta make up for 30 years of living in Louisiana, Texas, and Florida!

And, for the moment, I have no leaves to pick up! WOOT!

Unfortunately, it'll rain in an hour and hit 50°, and the leaves will reappear (but every rain cloud has a sliver lining and it'll mean a dump run soon). =D

Time to check the snow chains and avalanche shovel! =p

Banner day! Did the tiniest of dump runs to get rid of some oversized empty cardboard boxes and a leaf bag of dead-headed plants.

And then made myself $1,000! Yep, an even grand! Lots of clams. Moulah!

Well okay, actually I saved $1,000. =)

I had plumbers over here a few weeks ago and they pulled my creepy basement toilet to snake some roots. That toilet's flange was cast and leaded into the cement floor in 1955 and is rusted to bits. They wanted just over a grand to fix it. I know zip about plumbing but I also know that I have better ways to spend $1,000 on Soupie! =D

After becoming a genuine expert* with a few YouTube videos, it was off to Lowe's. So Soupie pulled double duty (lol, doodie). =D

Soupie went to the dump and Soupie brought home stuff for future dumps (eww, so crass). =p

icky drizzly 36° day

also grabbed a Slim Jim for me and Cheech! =)

* - Expert! LOL, we'll see if I can do it or not, only time will tell. The old flange is flush with the floor so I got an Oatey Twist-N-Set flange, some Tapcon screws, and a new but not-so-creepy toilet - the one down there has a manufacture date of 1964 - talk about lots of dump runs!. =)

Sooooo, now you can take a dump before you go to the dump, or, you can go to the dump, and then take a dump.....
Decisions Decisions Decisions.......

Banner day for Cheech!

He went to the dump, to the post office, and his very first time to Lowe's!

He's a bundle of nerves anytime he's in a car, even Soupie, which is not only majorly modded for him with his schmancy custom mattress in the back, but even color coordinated with his sweater!

It's hard to be a tough guy in a teal sweater. =D

On the way to the dump with 42° turbo nostrils!

Guard Soupie while I unload the old toilet ... note the matching seat covers and sweater - ooh.

One scoop of top soil, another scoop of compost, dropped into the back of the Ranger. The tarp was maybe a good idea in theory, but it was way too windy and actually made it more difficult. Then, a few Home Depot trips for a bunch of bags to mix in.
