Anybody try this using the Baja Designs S1 hitch pod?
Baja Designs Universal Hitch Pod
I just got one, and I’m running into all the aforementioned issues, starting with the closed hitch at the rear.
I’m not completely against drilling an outlet hole in the back/bottom of the hitch for...
Yeah. Pretty straightforward. The most stressful part was taking off OEM, which come off fairly easy with even pressure. Then, lining up new ones is easy.
Thought I would update my progress so far. After receiving the OBD Link EX in the mail, I changed some settings in ACM to "Turn on Line Outs" "Turn off factory DSP."
These initial changes did allow the aftermarket rear speakers to draw more power, but the whole sound spectrum, I guess for lack...
Thanks. Good to know. I’d assume just leave it tuned rather than uninstalling and reinstalling.
I read a post of the Bronco forum where someone did exactly that. Then, when they went to dealership for service, dealership noticed that key cycles were low and had been recently reset due to...
That’s what I’ve read in most cases.
People are all saying similar things on the Bronco and F-150 forums. But then there’s that one guy who bricks his truck…
I've had the Ford Performance Tune installed for roughly 3,000 miles on my 2023 XLT (non B&O stereo). In the process of going down the rabbit hole of audio modifications, I came across the various Forscan threads on "Enabling Line Out" to Variable for rear speakers and "Disabling DSP," both of...

Took damn near half the day but finally got this Putco emblem installed. Found it open box for $28 back in October.
I figured one of the 5 amp switches would be sufficient. Turns out I was wrong. Had to rewire to switch #3, the 10 amp switch. I also like having the ability to turn it on/off...
I’ve been running 93 since I bought mine in April. When it was stock, I’d run avg 21-22 mpg mixed city/hwy driving. Threw a rough country soft tri-fold tonneau on and, as another member mentioned above, the cover does make a big difference. I was averaging closer to 22-23 mpg. At that point, I...
One scoop of top soil, another scoop of compost, dropped into the back of the Ranger. The tarp was maybe a good idea in theory, but it was way too windy and actually made it more difficult. Then, a few Home Depot trips for a bunch of bags to mix in.
