Hauled home a burn barrel. Been wanting one for years.

Where's the frame to elevate it above the LPG burner - or old skool wood fire, copper coil, and reflux condenser. Oh, and cardboard carton of preserving jars.

Update on my Dash project.. I wanted a way to store my phone out of the sun on the Dash tray. I added a couple of 52mm gauge pods for a boost gauge and ???? angled towards the driver. I matched the curve of the tray (This doesn't replace the tray but sits right into it).

Rendered Image... middle divider is to keep phone from going under the gauges. There is plenty of room for a wireless charger to sit under the phone.

Hi Folks,

Today the Ranger was put into Flat Tow mode behind the RV as we are home from our summering in Flagstaff. Ranger behaved as I would expect and arrived safely at the house. Reengaging 4x2 mode, it was parked in the garage as we then backed the RV into its garage... The Ranger then took us to the UPS store to our mailbox to retrieve the mail that had accumulated of late.

All in all....the Ranger has not had one issue after being flat towed as I follow the directions in the owner's manual for Neutral Tow mode...

Best,
Phil
Hi Phil,
We did some shopping up there last weekend. I had to break out a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt for the day.? Perfect time to head back down south. ☀

The Ranger took dad and I to the range for some finger exercises. Then to lunch for burgers and a tall Dortmunder and back home for nap time.

I didn’t do much driving of my Ranger for a few days. My BIL/SIL drove in for a visit from Witchia. We used his Tesla in all of our trips around town as he suffers from a kind of vertigo where if he isn’t driving it really screws him up.

His Tesla is a Model Y. I was frankly pretty impressed with the car. It may be the only car/truck I have ridden in, in maybe two decades, that didn’t require some padding adjustment to keep my back from hurting right away.

After I complemented him on the car, he mentioned if I decided I wanted a Cybertruck, he would get some charging credits if he referred me to Tesla.

I told him I was holding out for a 6G Scab Tremor. :)

Drove next to a grown oak forest and collected 50lbs of acorns. So roughly 4000-8000 pcs.

Next I plan to go and throw them to my forest :)

Germination rate studies suggests 5% for the throw seeded, so expect about 200-500 seedlings in future. With potting this would go up to 80% but requires quite a lot more effort than half an hour stroll through the woods.

Detail(es) day. Truck received MANDATORY detailing after our trip - pretty sure it's in my purchase agreement :like: Car just doesn't seem to get the care it used to, not sure why? :giggle:

Hi Folks,

When we got home from Flagstaff, I raided the RV fridge for a couple brewskies. I recalled the outdoor kitchen had ample beer cooled down...So out of beer in the RV fridge I headed to the outdoor kitchen fridge...much to my chagrin, there was one lonely Pacifico, not the full 12 that I had envisioned. So fired up the Ranger for a beer run... Turns out my darling little wifelet moved all the beer but one out of the outdoor kitchen fridge to the RV fridge some 4½ months ago... So the Ranger saved the day by being the go to vehicle for a beer run..

Best,
Phil
