What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

My Ranger joined another exclusive ranger5g.com club today and made its first dump run. Not a lot but it was "household chemicals" day and I had a bunch of old paint that needed to go.

Then I made a donation run!

Then on my way home got some organizing bins, organizing stuff for my new Christmas craftsman toolbox. Some new 6' x 16" shelves for the garage.

Can you tell I've been cleaning the garage?

You need to get together with Soupie...I'm sure he can give you some valuable tips on going to the dump, "dump etiquette", and other helpful hints on loading and unloading stuff from your Ranger.

I love my mother to death, but unlike my father and I, couldn't wrap her mind around riding a motorcycle. So.... She bought a Can-Am Ryker.

Well, with 182 miles on it, it went BACK to the dealership for a VSS Fault and the ranger towed it down

Side note, for anyone looking at a Ryker, I would advise against it. The VSS Fault is a common issue, and you can have 10 units in for a VSS Fault, and all 10 would take a different fix. It's pretty sad when you roll in, say you're dropping off a Ryker for a VSS issue, and the service guy looks like he is about to cry

Loaded her up in anger today. Twice. Bought some tile for re-doing the floors. Ended up to be 51 boxes of tile at 71 lb per box. Figured I’ve got a truck, and I’m gonna use it! Did the math, and found out I ordered 3,500 lb of tile. Oops.
So I made two trips! Here she is loaded to the gills! This is the heavier load. 26 boxes. A little bit overloaded. I figured about 1800 lb. I was looking over the side into the bed when the fork lift lowered the pallet, and it seems like it dropped about 10 inches, but that might be an exaggeration. I really didn’t take time to measure it.
Anyway, here she is, loaded for bear.

Oh, and I just rolled over 5,000 miles this week. I don’t get out much

I don't plan on getting anywhere near that, but I am curious what kind of drive you had. Hills and curves? How'd it handle?

Thanks ! And alot cheaper than.buying one. If I had a welder I wouldve made it from steel to save some weight but this one is light enough for me to carry and I can store It either in my minibarn or behind my garage tarped. Makes my chore a ton easier and alot warmer!

Well, cartel is further south near roma. Here its peaceful and quiet. No place to hide, in the town they blend in right away with the crowds. And as for aliens.......quite possibly.

Road trip home today from vising family. Ran it hard and it never skipped a beat. Loving this truck more all the time. Pretty happy with the gas mileage for the Tremor. Edit: Also running a Livernois tune and I don't think it has hurt my gas mileage at all.

I took it super easy because nothing was tied down... I live in South Florida, so no hills to speak of (unless you count strip mall entrances...). There were a couple of railroad crossings, and I had to drive in normal city traffic. I didn't tie anything down, so I drove to minimize lateral G forces. Very gradual starts and stops, and pretty slow through the corners.

My first load was completely loose boxes, just stacked between the wheel wells. On the way out of the parking lot I accidentally drove through a huge pothole that went under only one side, and the truck rocked pretty good, and the load shifted. A couple of boxes actually fell off the stack, so I had to stop and put it back together again. I don't have any tie down points in the bed...

No issues with power, handling, or braking. I wasn't pushing the limits at all, though. Ride was smooth, and barely noticed the truck was loaded honestly. I don't know what the limiting factor for payload is, but it did not feel any squirrelly behavior or strange noises. The rocking on sideways bumps is normal behavior, and was no wose than usual. I just momentarily forgot to pay attention to road surface hazards.
