What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Hi Folks,

I took our Tortoise, Tito, on a trip to the mail box at the UPS store in the Ranger...we check once a week as most stuff is now on line....

A short ride can "loosen" Tito up quite a bit, so when I parked, got the mail...Mostly junk, I took him out of the passenger foot well and placed him on the asphalt to relieve himself if necessary...
Turns out there was a couple sitting in their vehicle and next thing I know we have half a dozen folks surrounding Tito and me.... Tito gets spooked so no doing business for him...So I pick him up and hold him for the crowd....then back into the truck for the ride home and pray he holds his bladder....which he did....Whew! No clean up of the truck required.... Anyway...life living with a tortoise that lives inside our house...not in the backyard like he used to do...

Hi Phil.

Thinking about travelling with Tito, what if he had a low side cat box with hypoallergenic litter as a travel potty in the car? Just a thought on less interior clean-up ?

Wasn't today, but the wife and I recently took Artemis (2019 Ranger) to the Cape Lookout National Seashore for some beach camping and surf fishing. In a word: WINDY! A great trip overall, and the longest I have lived out of her "off-grid" for the most part.

Heading back in October-November for more fishing and to chase the roosters with the dog!

Me and the wife went to a car show in a city about 45 minutes away. Last moment decided to enter it just to be a sore thumb because turned out it was a rat rod / hot rod / muscle car show. Ton of people stopping to ask questions over the course of 4 hours while we chilled and "people watched". Course we didn't win anything, but didn't expect to at this type of venue.

However, I did get to cram some chicken n' waffles down my gullet.

We decided next time they host this same show we are going to show up and set up a mock fancy living room under the awning with a fake crystal chandelier, table, fake bear skin rug, and anything else we can come up with so people are like "wtf is wrong with them?" Oh and we are going to order matching super american overall shorts to wear;

When for a quick overnight camping trip Saturday on some forest service roads in Mark Twain National Forest near Potosi, MO. Truck didn't let me down

Went for several miles of cruise loop around beach to listen to new tweeters and adjust overall sounds. So, have replaced 4 door speakers and now tweeters with Kicker brand and I give them a double thumbs up over standard Ford setup, plus sound quality is like "something broke" to " an 1874 lead crystal Italian wine glass just broke touching a sink edge"...

Drive the Ranger to the office this afternoon. 4.5 hours was waaay too long. I need to go back to my short 1-2 hours.
Then had a beer and burger/fries at a pub.
