I am still going with a RTT, but moving to a hardtop. Additionally, I am moving the setup to a trailer platform. My rig is set up for my hunting trips, so I want the truck to still be mobile once camp is set up.
Good day. I am changing my camping style, so offering this up to the Ranger community first. Ideally, I would like to keep it together as a kit - but could separate. (It wouldn't break my heart to keep the bed rack anyhow!)

Wasn't today, but the wife and I recently took Artemis (2019 Ranger) to the Cape Lookout National Seashore for some beach camping and surf fishing. In a word: WINDY! A great trip overall, and the longest I have lived out of her "off-grid" for the most part.

Productive Friday and Saturday - got the front end (bumper, winch, and grill) put on, the RCI bed rack installed, and the 270 awning mounted.
Need to figure out how to get the bash plate to mount, since the factory tow hooks are gone now. I think I will take them somewhere and have the tow...
Yeah, unfortunately....I am truly beginning to think a lot of the issues are on the 4WP side of the house. Once I did more research, I found my stuff readily available. Instead of taking the route of ease, I will choose a better path moving forward. Stopping by there this afternoon to pick...
Found the bumper I wanted, and the baja bars in stock, ready to ship....on Amazon of all places. Yes, spent an extra $100 - but they will be here in less than a week instead of the waiting game!
