Oh geez. Bird-Birds? That means my wife and I aren't the only people that nickname all of the birds we see in our back yard!

  • Peck-peck - Ibis
  • Slim Shady - Great Blue Heron
  • Whos - Eastern Screech Owl
  • Brontosaurus Birds - White Egret
  • The War Boys - Egyptian Geese (my favorite nickname for the birds because it's a Mad Max reference!)
  • Cobra Kia - Anhinga
I could keep going, but I'm probably starting to sound a little weird. LOL

Dave's got a new truck needing lots of $$$ to get back up to what he's used to.

So expect heavy-handed marketing and possible broken knee caps as he re-mods his new Ranger - Vanilla Ice sounds like a better name than Money Pit II. Especially considering Dave's radio presets and hair style ... =p

On another note, I was a high school teacher in Dallas when Ice, Ice Baby came out. I was drafted as a chaperone for fall dance and the DJ played that song at least 30 times that night ...
That's "Too Cold".

Begun to collect the load yesterday and continued today morning. The bed was so full I had to check the cover while closing it. Some of stuff was in cabin anyway (which I don’t like).
And if you think you can’t pick up no more since there is no room left, you still manage to crab some young trees for your garden, taller than me.
Ranger was so stuffed when I opened tailgate and door some things just fell out.
I guess I’m pushing the limits here and one day I’ll burn. ?

Our off road club took a trip out to Holly Oaks ORV park near Flint, MI. Some pretty trick Jeeps in the group and I kept up with one exception…just didn’t have enough clearance to get up one climb. That said, the Ranger impressed everyone. 30 degree inclines, 25 degree declines, 15 degree roll. I cleared some mild rock crawling sections and a ton of climbs. The only casualty was the plastic cap on the rear end of the driver’s side step. Time for sliders I guess. ??‍♂
The Fox/Ford Performance leveling kit and Toyo OC AT3’s were unstoppable aired down to 20 psi. Also I definitely got my money’s worth out of the full length RCI skid plates. Lots of scraping!

Parked up a 30 degree slope…the picture doesn’t do it justice…it was tough just climbing up to the bumper

A few club members took videos. I’ll share those when I get them. All in all a fun time.

Had a week off work so been hiking up and down the Oregon coast and also into Cape Disappointment in WA. Seen quite a few Rangers including some heavily modded ones which made me feel a little inadequate lol
