In yesterday's issue of how I'm spending my retirement money, I installed (aka plugged in) a “Android Auto Wireless Adapter for Factory Wired Android Auto - Instant Connection, Converts Wired to Wireless, Compatible with Android 10+ & Cars from 2015” from Amazon. $50 ($70 but they had a $20 coupon for this item). USB plug in.

I’m not normally impressed by a $50 item, but I’m digging this one. The device allows you to automatically connect your Android Auto (or Apply Car Play for a slightly different device) instead of having to plug it in. In my world, $50 so I don’t have to unplug and plug in my phone is worth it. It takes about 22-25 seconds from turning the key until my Spotify music starts playing.

This weekend we officially relieved my Ranger of baby duty when we traded in the wife's '22 Corolla Hybrid and snagged this '22 Explorer ST! Wife got the space she wanted for hauling everyone around (ok i wanted it to but we'll pin this on her), and I got a 400 hp toy to go rip around in. Not to mention the ranger feels more spacious again not having a car seat stuck behind the drivers seat.

I don’t judge! I like your setup as well. On top of the rear seat delete I also have a decked drawer full of tools. Love that thing. I will have a cap on the bed eventually, so I will be installing a Wolfbox rear view mirror camera soon so I can see again.
