I'd say 58K is a good time to change them out. I bought my truck at about 52K and changed them out. They were definitely due. I didn't have much rust on Cylinder 4 but my truck came from a dry environment. I actually changed them out 2k miles later for a colder plug since I added a tune. I...
Figured I’d give some feedback on a previous post. I ordered these (Ford Performance Parts Spark Plug M-12405-20T) from Summit Racing for $101.74. I figured there would be some type of magical markings on them showing they were Ford Performance parts and not the exact same Denso Plug. Hell...
Not on topic, but Mike, if you wanted to be super cool you'd make a 3D printed funnel with an extra large opening for the oil. It would twist in securely like the cap. That would be cool.
Mike and all,
I received my Fitzstick in the mail this week and installed in 2 hours. No issues. I had to go in from the wheel well rubber shielding to get leverage to loosen the old dipstick. Install was straight-forward and didn't require jacking up the truck although I have a 2.5"...
Thanks Mike, I kept hitting refresh and got one of them on order. My trans is getting flushed on Friday so I'll install after that, when it arrives. It's the last item that this forum recommended when I sent my welcome message.
In yesterday's issue of how I'm spending my retirement money, I installed (aka plugged in) a “Android Auto Wireless Adapter for Factory Wired Android Auto - Instant Connection, Converts Wired to Wireless, Compatible with Android 10+ & Cars from 2015” from Amazon. $50 ($70 but they had a $20...
Looks like the MBS Fitzstick is out of stock and you can't order them. Shit, it was next on my to do list. MBS, please let us know when they are back in stock so we can order them.
Like several others, I installed a "RealTruck UnderCover SwingCase Truck Bed Storage Box | SC206P | Fits 2019 - 2022 Ford Ranger Passenger Side" that I purchased for $200 from Amazon. They have a few used ones for cheaper but you never know what you get with that.
I have no bed liner so the...
Hmmm, should have got a Ranger instead. :)
My wife drives an XT-5
Brian, please post before & after pictures and any lessons learned. Did you get the front and rear version and polarized lens?
Roger that, I have the same ones. Beautiful SCab! I'm sure they'll hold up based on your feedback. I'd say if there is a slight design flaw it's that the pinchweld protrudes in a few spots and isn't flat all the way across. It's slight but noticeable when you look up close. The bottom...
I have an XLT, but bought a set of Lariat sunvisors from Ebay for the built in Homelink garage door openers. They also have mirrors with lights. You have to splice in 2 wires: ground and hot. I went BAT+ hot (green w/yellow tracer) instead of key on power (blue/brown I think). I spliced in...
In yesterday's issue of how I'm spending my retirement money, I installed the Ford armored sill protectors on my 21 SCAB. They are made by Bushwacker. They don't fit perfectly to the pinch welds to say the least but they're alright. I wouldnt buy them again though. Previous owner had some...
That is totally an option, preferred actually. I'm using my rearview mirror power for a radar detector. The power cable for it has power and ground probes that tap into the connector.
If I was powering a dashcam I would do that.
Mehhh, you are fine. There is plenty space behind the pillar cover to route several wires behind or alongside the airbag. I wired up a Lariat sunvisor and had no concerns.
Speaking of that, I haven't wired the passenger side sunvisor yet. Anyone know if there is 12V key on power running...
Mine was almost the exact same when I added a 2.5" level. Literally, almost exactly the same. I couldn't stand the cornering so I got it done the next day. Great looking truck!
