I had the truck into the dealership to have the Ford-branded trailer brake controller installed. Evidently it’ll work with pre-collision braking and all that so the integration was worth it for me.

Finally caved and got “bigger” tires. 285/70 Toyo at3. Can’t be that much bigger tho, my Speedo was reading correctly according to my phone gps. They did look bigger when I compared them to the original tires. Maybe the speedo was off?

So I already had removed the front bar and am running 1.25 inch spacers. Plus a 2.5 inch lift. No rub that I can see yet. Seems to be a pretty safe size to run.

I had a strange issue after I had my windows tinted last weekend. It is legal to have your windshield tinted in Nevada if it is non-reflective and that is just what I did. (I only did 70 ceramic I'm not crazy.) Driving to work yesterday I noticed my lights were on and it was a typical sunny, cloudless day here. Great - I thought - I ruined the auto headlight function with my tint. After doing some research I found this should not be the case. Especially with such a light film. So I inspected the sensor on the dashboard and found that indeed some over-spray from the install soap was dried on there - but really not much. I wiped it clean and today my sensor could see the sun again. Everything back to normal and it had nothing to do with the new darkness.

I didn't think this was worthy of a thread but figured a PSA was due because this is something you could do to yourself just cleaning your windshield on your own.

For your time, a photo of the dirty, newly-tinted truck after I picked it up.

Tint looks great, also love that decal you have on the side, nice touch.

I got me some wheels and tires from a Big Bend Bronco. Went from 265/60/18 to 255/75/17. Just need to find me some center caps to get the Bronco off lol

The decal on the side is the standard splash package decal.
