A lot of discussion in this thread. https://www.ranger5g.com/forum/threads/velossa-tech-design-big-mouth-for-2019-ranger.9147/Would someone mind posting more of a top down view of their install? I would like to get a better idea of how this intake is routed from the grill to the air box. Thanks.
That's different than other light setups from what I can tell, and while it's not my flavor I do like how you bling the Big Mouth flare. You are correct, it doesn't fit with the Lariat grill lights without modifications. In addition to dremeling the bracket, I had to use some L-brackets I had laying around the garage. Initially I tried bending the bracket tabs backwards but ended up breaking one off. At that point I just cut off the other one off and McGuivered things with the L-brackets. This moved the lights up and back a little bit but cleared the Big Mouth. It's a hack job but turned out OK. There is very little room back there making it a bit aggravating. Attempt at your own risk.
I just can't seem to make it fit and I don't want to cut on anything so if you're still interested; does $120 shipped seem fair? It is black on black?? How much you lookin for and what color do you have.
How about $100 shipped and DM me if a go.I just can't seem to make it fit and I don't want to cut on anything so if you're still interested; does $120 shipped seem fair? It is black on black
Thank you for sharing! Did you get the same +2mpg increase others have shared with the reduced size of the intake?Fit on my lariat with Raptor Lights. Maybe not as wide open but it fit. I have the 4 white LED Raptor light kit from Stage 3 Motorsports. Excuse the dirt, we've been getting hammered with snow in NE Pa.
I don't understand how it won't fit, should just bolt right in, two bolts that's it. You do need to take off the top tray/cover to get in there.I just can't seem to make it fit and I don't want to cut on anything so if you're still interested; does $120 shipped seem fair? It is black on black

I haven't noticed any mpg gains....and I do not have a lead foot.Thank you for sharing! Did you get the same +2mpg increase others have shared with the reduced size of the intake?
Bingo, you nailed it.How does this direct air to the intake snorkel?
Looks like it just directs air up and over the core support.
I can't believe they found a market for a couple inches of plastic for $120 something dollars.
I bet the mark-up on that is awesome for their bank account.
I've considered making something out of $10 in PVC piping of some sort and painting it.
