What do you know, my Icon rear piggyback shocks arrived today after 7 months. Now I have to get truck leveled and deal with the crash bars to fit some 285/70/17s.
Does anyone have the part number for the black "tuner" lug nuts needed for the RTR wheels? I did not see them available on their...
I've been considering this for my '08 supercharged Foose F-150. Sounds awesome but I think the novelty of it would wear out fast. It's also kind of expensive for basically a kazoo tapped into your intake tube. If I end up getting one, I'm going to plumb it into the airbox instead.
For the...
In my case I think Icon is who really dropped the ball with the covid and supply chain delays. Most vendor have things drop shipped from the manufacturer. S3 did promptly ship out my front coilovers but I have held off on installing them waiting for the rear shocks.
I've ordered plenty of...
Same same, ordered the satin black 17x9 ET30 rims on black Friday that were advertised as in stock. I'm okay with a slight shipping delay given the deal.
I've been waiting for over 6 months for my Icon VS piggy back rear shocks ordered through Stage 3. Pisses me off that I have seen them...
The Kicker KXA 400.1 amp I used does not need a LOC. I just used the high-level speaker wire that went to the factory sub. Many of the newer amps are able to do this and also have decent auto turn-on capabilities.
I ran the power wire through the big grommet on the driver's side. There's...
Napier 82000 9'x9'x7.5' SUV tent. We unload all the gear from the truck into the tent and sleep in the bed. A twin air mattress fits perfectly between the swing cases. The truck bed becomes an extension of the tent.
I like the flexibility with this setup as you can detach the truck from the...
The 2019s do not have any factory sound deadening. I also applied Dynamat Xtreme to the doors and rear cab wall. Easy and relatively inexpensive to do and makes a huge difference. IIRC, I used about 3/4 of a bulk pack box of Dynamat.
3rd pic in post #181 by Dustanmont where the hot and cold pipes connect. There's a small flare around the holes. I just needed about 1mm to get the intercooler pipes to clear the top edge.
I finally got mine installed today without removing the facia. I also had some issues getting the right angle to get it to fit in. I ended up using a hammer along the top flange on the oval cutouts and it dropped right in. The metal on those cutouts isn't very thick and is easy to massage...
Gotcha - you'd need to find a very efficient sub because I'm guessing the B&O amp is probably only putting out 20-25 clean watts.
If you did nothing more than a sound deadening treatment on the doors and back wall the B&O setup would sound much much better. Had I not ordered everything at...
I added a little Kicker KXA 400.1 amp and 10" sub in the cubby hole with the box from Australia. The B&O amp is in-tact but I did also replace all the speakers with some Infinity Reference drivers as well as do some sound proofing.
I didn't want to go too crazy and have to replace the B&O amp...
What year did Ford stop using the "paint finish that never needs waxing"? My old '72 Capri didn't seem to have that.
I did like the rack and pinion setup on the Capri. I believe it was the same as the Pinto.
