Velossa Tech Big Mouth fitment issues

Anyone looking to install the Velossa tech big mouth, just know that it does not fit (my 2020 Lariat) if you've installed the Raptor style marker lights in the grill. Contacted Velossa Tech and they said they were not aware of that issue. Unless anyone has come across this and has a solution, this Big Mouth is up to be re-homed. **Edit** LangWilliams pointed out something I was obviously not smart enough to figure out on my own; I will try moving the light bar and wiggle the intake in there that way. I will update my progress later.

I have a 2019 Ranger XLT with the 4 grill marker lights from stage3 motorsports and have successfully installed the Velossa Tech big mouth with no fitment issues. I know your truck is a 2020 larait, what fitment issues are you experiencing?

They can't factor in every aftermarket or home made mod to a grille. It's made to clear stock. I have the Raptor style grille with my own lights and have no issues. Too bad you're not able to use it.

I have a 2020 XL with the stage3 raptor grill/lights and mine fits without issue. Did you get it fully seated and bolted in flush?

Oh you are absolutely correct, I am not blaming Velossa Tech at all, it just doesn't work with my particular setup, it happens.

I changed my XLT grill to a Lariat grill an added stage 3 raptor lights an installed one on my truck. Had to loosen the raptor lights to get access to the bolt though.

I have the stock Lariat grill and the lights sit just low enough that the big mouth just doesn't fit. The wiring won't allow it to sit down in the pocket to even bolt it in. And even if it did fit, the light bar would be right in the airflow path.

When it warms up a little I'll give that a shot. I was freezing my ass off trying to get it in there and didn't think to loosen the light bar. I think it will still be blocking the intake somewhat but don't think it will make that big of a difference either way.

I made something similar to this scoop accessory by cutting a corner out of a plastic fuel container. I just laid it in there and used a screw close by to secure it. Actually directs as much if not more air to the above opening.

It does the same thing of directing air up to the opening and I got the same mpg increase that most people are getting without the cost. Maybe not as stylish but I did cut it out of a blue container.

Fit on my lariat with Raptor Lights. Maybe not as wide open but it fit. I have the 4 white LED Raptor light kit from Stage 3 Motorsports. Excuse the dirt, we've been getting hammered with snow in NE Pa.
