I am having the same issue with 285/75/16s. Wheels are 16x8 0 offset. What offset are your wheels? I'm wondering if switching to something like a +30 would fix the issue.
285/70/R17 Toyo AT3s fit fine at +25 offset.

Newbie question here, I just bought a 2020 Super crew Lariat, sport and tow package added. It has the 17” rims but the tires are Bridgestone Dueler 255 65R17. I thought the tires were supposed to be a different size? I am not a tire guru so is this a normal tire size? Any info or instruction is appreciated!

I think you move up to a 265 with the FX4 package.

Correct, mine were 265/65/17 with the Fx4 pkg. I went one size larger with 265/70/17 so I didn't have to modify/cut the crash bars.

How many miles on them ?
Had 500 miles on mine and got $400 here in Reno. The Hankook is a $160 tire plus tax new. Start at $450, you'll sell them.

Nice, you're lucky. Everyone out here is so cheap. I started at $375.00 and kept getting offers of $200.00. Told them I'd throw them in the trash before selling them that cheap. Figured $325.00 was worth it just to get them out of my garage.

Yeah, we must have a higher class of CL buyer here in Reno. Took me a couple months though, lowballers here too.

I think probably a site full of people who already have Rangers with OEM tires that no one really likes and are trying to get rid of is probably not a good place to sell said tires. :lipssealed: I‘m planning to hit Kijiji and craigslist to sell mine. Lots of normal people will be really happy to get decent tires for cheap.

Actually, I realized probably the best thing to do is hold on to them and put them back on if/when I sell the truck. A brand new set of tires is a major selling point!

I thought of doing that but I have no place to store them. No basements here or a shed so if I leave them outside the sun and dry heat will kill them. The only shade I have is under my back patio and I don't ant to look at 5 tires every time I'm out there.
