WOW guys and girls ! Thank you very much !! I appreciate all the prayers and kind words. Credit to the great people on this forum. Im doing pretty good now as far as long distance vision but reading vision is bad most of the time. Im blind in my right eye and the left eye has been going through a few months of vitreous detachment which is usually harmless and is no bother except causing floaters which I have an eyeful. Mine had 2 small retina tears that are all good now. My issue left is my lens has hardened and its not real flexible so it doesnt focus well messing with my vision. I get a few good hours a day. Usually doctors would replace the lens as its done every day but they are hesitant to do it right away because if something goes wrong it wouldnt be good. They assured me last week it will be done someday, Im just impatient and want it now. Thanks again for your prayers and kind words , Get out there and enjoy these awesome Rangers. Bret

Bret, I've been missing you here at the peanut gallery. Prayers sent for a quick recovery, and you can ride with us again soon. Just to let you know that we've been unable to get Al @Texasota to get a dang damper, but I really think he's beginning to see the right. :) Get well soon brother.
Jim, having dreams is good for the soul. Keep on dreaming!

Glad you are back, Bret!

Bret,

I hope you hear soon that your procedure will be moving ahead. In the meantime, be as patient as you can and know that you have a lot of folks here in your corner. I‘m wishing the best for you as you manage your way through this tough time. Can’t wait to have you back here in the forum on a regular basis.

Get better soon Brett...our annual vacation to BETHANY BEACH is coming in September and we could try to do a drive-by to say hi. Also have retired friends at the Hamlet at Diricksons Pond in Frankford, and hang there a lot! Not to mention our fave Banks Beverage! #rangerstrong

Last time I talked with Bret he was doing better but still not 100% yet. I've seen him lurking on here once in a while but I think reading still bothers him.

Hope you're doing well there buddy we all miss you and hoping you come back home soon.

Thanks Tracy, Erik, Alex, Sid and damper Dave for your kind thoughts! Eye is still the same although I think im getting more used to it now. I get about 5-6 hours a day of good close vision. I look on the sight about an hour a day and im finally all caught up on posts that I missed.. I see 3 eye specialists every month and they will decide when to replace my lens. They are hesitant to do surgery unless totally needed as I only have mono vision. Thankfully I can drive and I have docs appointment tomorrow and im getting another new pair of glasses that may help close up vision. Stay safe all and get out and enjoy your Rangers. Bret

Glad to see you on here even if it's just one post. Hopefully the new glasses will help your vision and you can come join us again even if it's just a few minutes a day. Get well soon Buddy! ?
