Thanks, I'm going to have to start keeping the old files I guess so I know what I did last. I have the same issue as Rangerdanger....it downloads to 14G381-AN file, which translates to build 19052 if memory serves.
Yes it does. I just tried to connect to my WiFi again and then selected scan for update and all it did was spin on the screen searching for an update, so maybe it was a fluke or something that it connected to.

381-AN was constantly dropping my phone connection and was very unstable. Hopefully 391-CJ is the patch.

Just updated and had no issues. Used Windows 10 on my Mac (BootCamp), formatted the flash drive and unzipped the files to the flash drive.

My truck came with 3.3 18295. I connected the truck to my wifi and it had full signal strength. When I tell it to check for updates, it spins for about 45 seconds and returns to the menu with no info, meaning it does not tell me if there is an update or not, just goes back to the menu. So I got the same result as others reported. Wifi connects, but it will not update via wifi.

USB method worked fine.

After spinning through the menus, I see nothing new, so not sure what we get from this update.

Inside the 4U5T-14G381-AN.zip is autoinstall.lst, which has the following references. My takeaway here is that U5T-14G391-CJ might still be build 19052, just perhaps for a different unit or trim or with nav/without or something. Inside the SyncMyRide folder there are only two files with any significant size and that is the CJ and AN files.

; SYNC3 Consumer Assembly Upgrade - Release 3.3.19 - Only for Nav/NA assemblies.

[SYNCGen3.0_3.3.19052]
Item1 = HB5T-14G386-VEA
Open1 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-VEA.tar.gz
Item2 = HB5T-14G386-VBA
Open2 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-VBA.tar.gz
Item3 = 4U5T-14G381-AN
Open3 = SyncMyRide\4U5T-14G381-AN.tar.gz
Item4 = 4U5T-14G391-CJ
Open4 = SyncMyRide\4U5T-14G391-CJ.tar.gz
Item5 = GB5T-14G386-AB
Open5 = SyncMyRide\GB5T-14G386-AB.tar.gz
Options = AutoInstall,Delay

Mine didn’t want to update over WiFi either. Just spun and returned with no answer either way. Was able to update via USB. Only took about 20 minutes total too.

I was already on 19052 for a couple days and today I got in my truck and there was a pop up banner across the top that said 'system updated', it disappeared too quickly for me to tap it to see what it was though. System still shows 19052, maybe it was just a gracenotes update or something.

I had the same thing happen, and i'm already updated to 19052. I clicked on the automatic update screen and it was trying to download an update. It stopped halfway through and went away. Was somewhat confused on why it was trying to update if I had the latest version already.

Jeez! Shouldn’t these software updates from Ford be “automatic”? Like, park your rig near your home network and let the sucker update overnight?

Or am I missing something?

Yep. The latest update -391 has a fix for some street names being read out poorly for Nav. That was mainly a problem in some European countries though.

Where have you found that information, is there a detailed update summary posted somewhere?

There are usually release notes somewhere in the owner portal, but they are "dumbed down" to a level that is barely useful. If anybody knows of technical release docs, I'd love to see them.
