Traded the Ranger (for more than I paid, thanks supply chain disruptions) and bought America's classic off-roader, or wait I've come to understand it's actually Italian. Wait, this just in, it's may actually be French! ? Huhh Huhh Huhh huhhhhh oui oui escargot Giuseppe.

Anyways, it's a pretty basic Sport S. 3 options boxes checked and kept the manual trans which comes standard. I think a lot of folks think these things are ugly but I couldn't be happier to be back in a manual and in a convertible pickup truck. More of a lifestyle vehicle than anything else but whilst young and yet to have kids, I felt it was the right time. Going to be conservative with lift and wheels and I've gotta buy a Dremel to cut those ugly air dams off the bumper but here's a pic of the new clunker:

Until these are lifted on 37’s I think they look like the miniature dachshund of the truck world. Lol! Love the color! Get to building.

You should always get what suits your lifestyle and if this is it good luck with it! I got mine (Rubicon) the other day and really like it so far. But can't part with my Ranger as I like it to much and still need it for work. I do love having to freedom panels off now and will take the back off once it warms up some.

Since those Gladiators came out I’ve been wanting one, just way too pricey where I live (they start at Lariat prices here).
Congrats on the truck, really awesome color!

Also enjoy jeep aftermarket parts and the cost savings vs Ranger parts. I wanna cry when I compare my suspension costs vs my jeep friends. Lol

Love the color, I honestly like them better without the massive tires, everyone i've seen near me is lifted with 37s at least it seems. Pretty nice looking truck, now only if they had it in a 2 door...

I’m sorry but those things are just a disaster in the rear. Looks like the whole bed is behind the back wheels w a 6’ overhang. And with what they cost couldn’t those French Italians made a dedicated rear door and not the angled one straight off the wrangler? I would just combat park everywhere lol.

Yours looks great. I'd been following along to see how quickly it made it to you. The capability of the two doors with the low range case and F/R lockers is hardly matched.

They gave us 4 more inches of legroom and A/C vents in the back instead ?. But fair comment as I also see a bit of what you see, especially with my current Barbie Jeep tires. More proportional setup to come haha.

Did you go with the diesel or the gas v6?
I wanted the manual trans so the gas engine was requisite. I'm still breaking in so I haven't ripped on it yet but first impression is that it's enough to live with, power/torque wise.

Hey,

No one here, I hope criticizes you move from Tier 1 to Tier 3... That is your decision...

Nice Jeep, enjoy.
Check glove compartment...should be a jar of spaghetti sauce and a pack of spaghetti.
Owners manual has a section on how to use...:giggle:

I think they look nice lifted with a bit bigger tires, the proportions are better.
Nothing against Jeeps, I got clean 97 Wrangler for my daughter a while ago, but they seem to cost a lot of money for what you get.
