Spit is one of the most vile and disgusting things on the face of the planet another human can launch at another human.

I've had to warn more than one person on the job when I saw what they were thinking that if they did so I would break their jaw. All on bodycam and with zero regret.

I'm sure @Fawnbuster can relay some stories about this subject and spitters.

I've seen fire fighters and EMS threaten to drop someone strapped to the rack if they so much as even looked like they wanted to go that route.

I have an iPhone (have bought them for years) and don't consider myself a fan boy. I do like how their UI is compared to Android (seems more simple) but I'm also one who hates change so that's probably why.
Yes well my wife tried to turn me, she's on a contract where she gets a free upgrade every year or so, gave me her last one seemingly so we could share our i-Lives, and I tried to live with it for about a year, honestly I really tried, but I could just never get around the way you can't do anything without Apple's precious control. I eventually bought a Pixel and went back to Android.

Not the same as a Jitterbug, double OLED screen, high powered, thousands of app's. The old flip phones were lucky to text or do video.
This was my favorite phone. It was lightweight and compact and you didn't even know it was in your pocket. If it were easier to text with (and were updated to the newer 4g/5g networks) I'd love to still have one.

I remember those, so, at the expense of ageing myself I will drop a photo of the 1st cell phone I ever had, it was on MetroCel network (later to become Verizon). Had it in my truck, took 5 minutes to convert to 'portable', if you owned a Dampner you wouldn't be able to lift it.

I had a similar one. I bought it at Radio Shack but it didn't have the bag. I kept the main box under my seat and mounted the phone to the engine cover of my work van. The carrier was Bell Atlantic which went on to merge with a few different carries before becoming Verizon. The rate was a flat .75/minute so it didn't get much use only for business and emergency calls. You're right those phones were heavy and I'd never be able to hold one up today. :frown:
