to me it certainly looks like it is.

Ha! I'm tempted but:
a.) I like how it looks despite the little bit I blasted off, and
b.) what if it's not plastidip and it's something not meant to come off? LOL

Find a little spot under the fender right above the top of the tire and scratch it with your thumbnail. If it's plasti-dip it should come off fairly easy and that spot isn't going to last long at all anyway so you have nothing to lose.

Plus most of us are dying to know if you bought a plasti-dipped truck.

If it doesn't come off easy it might be a regular paint job, albeit a somewhat poor one (maybe even rattle can) but it should last longer than plasti-dip. The paint job may have been done before the sale to hide some fender damage.

I am pretty sure the STX package has magnetic wheel trim and bumper accents. I'll have to find my window sticker, but I believe I selected that because it color matched to the rest of the truck. The black definitely looks like dip or weak bedliner to me.

yep. all XL comes with black bumpers and trim, and anything above XL does NOT get black.

also anyone still confused by this, you can just go to the ford website and build a truck, its pretty clear. XLT and lariat comes standard with body color bumpers and fender trim. Only other options are chrome bumpers (with body color fender trim). or the sport appearance package that makes the bumpers and fender trim the magnetic color. Even the 'black appearance package' does not change the color of the bumpers or fender trim.

I have a shadow black and with the FX4 sport package I haven’t had an issue with a pressure washer but I do feel our paint is very fragile. I say this because my 17 fusion was shadow black and yes it had some scratches but man this thing has all types of random scratches
