In Wisconsin our 91 premium, the highest we get, is 0%. Only thing I run in my small engined or motorcycle. Ethanol gas goes bad too fast and gums up the carbs. Everything else is 10%, 15% or E85. It's also why our premium os 90 cents more than 87.
More specifically, Marathon, Cenex Shell and Arco 91 oct E-0 are Top Tier. KwikTrip/KwikStar used to be but I see they have been dropped from Top Tier's list.

Yes I run 89 Non-Ethanol in all my lawn equipment. And my 22 KTM Duke 890 GP has never tasted Ethanol, and never will..

Most Shell stations I use have the option of 90 octane ethanol free. And Shell is most definitely Top Tier. While I buy it for my mower, I stick with the 93 octane for the Ranger and my ST.

BP near me has it as well though BP dropped out of Top Tier a couple of years ago. But they do like to claim that their detergent package exceeds the Top Tier minimum standards.

Most marinas have ethanol free gas. Outboard motors were not designed to burn ethanol and will trash the engines if you use it. Some will sell it to fill up your car and others won’t. Guess it’s more of who’s palm you grease to obtain it.

If I remember right there is an app called gas buddy or something like it that will list all the places local to you that do sell it for that purpose.

I always try to fill up at Sinclair stations here in Missouri since they have ethanol free premium. Quite a few of the MFA stations also have ethanol free gas.

For those that are stuck using ethanol gas in their small engines, I will suggest treating the gas with Sta-Bil 360. I ad it to my gas cans every time I fill them up and haven't had any issues with my small engines.

I am in Upstate N.Y and even though the cost hurts at $5 a Gal we have up to 93 oct Non-Eth, and I try and run it in everything, I think its worth not having to worry what the corn is doing to the inside of my engines, everything starts first time every time, everything we have including chain saws and mowers were not cheap we have to keep them running good!
a good Gas (Non-Eth) and good on time Oil changes (Amsoil) and sleep good at night :)

Depends if they are charging federal and state fuel taxes.

Some insight on ethanol: https://www.treehugger.com/the-pros-and-cons-of-ethanol-fuel-1203777

"Though ethanol and other biofuels are often promoted as clean, low-cost alternatives to gasoline, industrial corn and soy farming still have a harmful impact on the environment, just in a different way.4 This is especially true for industrial corn farmers. Growing corn for ethanol involves large amounts of synthetic fertilizer and herbicide.5 In general, corn production is a frequent source of nutrient and sediment pollution.

Additionally, research addressing the the energy needed to grow crops and convert them to biofuels and concluded that producing ethanol from corn required 29% more energy than ethanol is capable of generating."
Well, not exactly from an unbiased source.

I don't know why I felt the needs to do the math but if you grow 1 acre of corn you could roughly expect to get about 200 gallons of ethanol or roughly 12 weeks of "free" fuel.... assuming you already have all the stuff you'd need to make straight corn-juice-fuel.

I'm in WI too and that's what I put in my motorcycles. But being even more picky, I use gas stations that have individual hoses and nozzles per gas type. All-in-one nozzles where you push a button to select gas type, you're getting about a gallon of whatever low grade ethanol crap the last cager put in, and if you only have a 2 or 3 gallon tank, it makes a difference. Maybe I'm a little nuts but if I'm paying for it, I want all of the good stuff.?

Perhaps their name is throwing you off. From their About page.

Yeah, I agree, but those are getting harder to find.

Is that planting, fertilizing, weeding, harvesting by hand? A lot of time, energy and fuel is spent doing all those. Not exactly free fuel.
