Lot of fun over the weekend! Friday we rode for 3-4, hours Saturday 4ish hours? Sunday about 5ish hours
Emily has learned a lot! She is getting her shifting down and braking and turning in tight spots! She hasn't dropped the bike yet but about did today haha. Took her down the gravel roads as well to just explore and she enjoyed just cruising down a gravel road at 30mph. Got 30miles on her bike already!
I did drop mine a few times trying to ride through the woods section lmao not a trail just kinda pushing my way through. An extremely fun weekend!
sadly my bike fell over after the front tire moved and it fell onto Emily's new bike... my clutch lever was bent last year and i cut the bent part off so its not sharp? but its a flat edge and it caused this deep scratch sadly!
Also this pic I dug the rear tire down and the bike was standing on its own but as you can see it was falling so Emily was trying to grab it LMAO she didn't make it

Oh ya I forgot to mention I finally have no more vibrations! Turns out my local discount tire just couldn't get it right... So I went to my local dealer to have them align it and balance the truck and it drives great now!
I'm a HUGE Discount Tire supporter but I've noticed they seem to be struggling with quality work lately. My last balance, I saw the wheel bouncing all over and asked the tech, he told me the wheel was bent. I asked a Manager to take a look and it turns out it wasn't on the balancer correctly. I know stuff happens, but... when I ask, check it.

Same I always go to them for my tires but I agree as of late they have been struggling with anything... My location also got an alignment machine and Emily wanted to get her car aligned there with her new tires but they couldn't do it and said it was gonna be all this work to do it.. we dropped it off at Firestone and it was done in 20mins..
That's crazy they wouldn't just look when you ask thou..

Had to tow the gfs car to the dealer... Camshaft sensor went out so we ordered a new one but unless you got one of them fancy 2 way scanners... You can't do the relearn on it so had to drop it off so they can do that...

this is what all the bricks are for. we are working on a gravel patio with a firepit spot and a grilling spot. i do want to put 4 posts around the corners to hang lights so you always have some lights out there that run off solar. the gf is wanting a pergula but unsure about that one just yet lol. i still gotta work out the design for cooking station area and back splash setup.
also having a hard time finding white gravel like pea gravel in my area!
still got some work to do and noticed one section isnt as level as i wanted so i gotta fix that!

i think these were far past the time of being useful lol. the truck started riding pretty poorly months ago but wanted to save up to buy my suspension and get other things taken care of first. well i found those raptor shocks for 200 bucks. the fronts need rebuilt and the rears are tired but not blown just yet so i slapped those rear ones on the truck and yup they are tired but 10 times better then what i had!
the left shock above you would have to force it down and then it wouldnt move the right one i could push down with a finger but then it would take 30mins to fully extend all the way back out!

was bored up at work and one of my friends sent me an image stating "here this is something you would like" and they were not wrong haha.
i wish there was more bumpers for the f150 that were ecoboost capable but so far i only know of two and nobody makes a bed rack thing like that so id have to build it to even have one like it.
but its a neat little render thing haha

lot of stuff done in a weekend tbh!
first i got some more raptor parts last weekend. plus some fox 2.0s to run temporarily until i get the 2.5s ready to go on the truck. this was last weekend.
this weekend we got the fox 2.0s installed on the truck friday night. got everything nice and tight with no issues and nothing being loose (this is important for the other bit that happened this weekend..) i took the truck out to my local ford dealer since idk why but the ford dealers have always done a great job aligning my trucks when lifted. i dropped it off at 730am and had to wait a good long while tbh! didnt get the truck back until 12pm... but after that we decided it was time to go ride dirbikes at perry lake again! so we went home loaded up the bikes and left! drove 75mph out there on the turnpike and had no issues until we got to the park.. to enter the offroad park you exit the pavement to gravel so it will flex the suspension a bit. also if a car is leaving that spot you will have to turn wide and make a sharp turn since the road isnt very wide.
well when we did this we heard a loud clang! we drove the truck a few feet and stopped and checked everything and nothing looked broken or loose? so we parked the truck and went and rode dirtbikes for about 4 hours and had a lot of fun!
emily did finally drop her bike lol nothing to bad but she bent her turn signal and her clutch lever a tiny bit. but she was fine and still had fun!
well as we got the truck loaded and were ready to leave i looked over the front end again and still saw no issues with it? so we started to leave and had to do a sharp turn to leave the park because of another car coming in. yet again i heard that loud clang! so i stopped again and saw nothing?? decided to limp it the 23min drive back the the highway just incase we needed to call for help. the truck felt all over the place the entire time... after we got to the highway i stopped in a stipmall and put the drive front tire on a curb to get under the truck and look at it. i still saw nothing so i had emily turn the wheel multiple times lock to lock and finally saw that the damn drive side control arm was loose af and just moving on its own...
(you can see how much the bolt moved around on the mount)
i called some friends that were close ish and limped it to my buddys place about 25mins away and tightened it up there... one of the nuts was a few threads from falling off btw and i know before i took it to get my alignment done it was tight... welp with the front end out so much i decided it was safer to limp it home on back roads instead of highways so a 1 hour drive turned into a 2 hour drive and we didnt get home till 11pm... and that concludes saturday!
sunday was the blip season starter so just a big bike show!
if anyone remembers my buddy who took a 78 goldwing up a mountain well this is his adventure yamaha venture 1200! lol he is always doing something odd!
but ya this raps up sunday.
monday how ever was not fun... i took the truck back to the dealer early in the morning so calling off work. i got ahold of the service manager and told him everything that was wrong with the truck and what i wanted them to do with it since they didnt tighten the cam bolts.. they told me no problem they will get it fixed right away. well not even 20mins goes by and a service writer comes out and takes me to the shop where i talk to the tech and the tech tells me oh i didnt touch that. "what do you mean you didnt touch the cam bolts?" well i didnt touch those i normally dont on alignments. so after that i talked with the gm and the service manager going back and forth and at the end i was told here is my keys the truck is tight and drives straight ish its not our problem or our fault....
ended up going to a different dealer who checked over the entire front end checked all the bolts and looked for damage and aligned the truck for me. so now the truck drives good and has no issues and i wont be going back to that dealer for anything.
