wow i am jealous of your mpg tracy! i seem to be stuck at 21.5 to 22. you may have a lighter foot on the go pedal than i do. or dont carry around a lot of extra stuff.
I normally don’t carry a lot of extra weight. I do have a roadside hazard pack back there.?

I recalculated my MPG, but this is just one tank of gas, normal work/home driving:
Miles: 408
Gallons used: 18
Calculated: MPG 22.6
Reported MPG: 25.1
Lesson learned: Don't assume the reported MPG is realistic.
As usual, the displayed MPG is optimistic, reporting error of 2.5 MPG.

About 350 miles to Bozeman. Averaged 27.5 on regular fuel. Truck seems to love going about 55 mph the freeway stretches at 75 mph really took the average down.

2022 XL SCab. Got a GFC and bigger tires going on this week so it was nice for one trip.

MTB trip up north. Windows down cruise control 70-75 whole time.

440 miles to my tank = ~25mpg with camping/biking gear.

Completely stock besides a 2.5" level and 255/75/17 c rated mud terrains on stock wheels I was getting 20.5 mpg. Mostly rural driving.. minimal stop and go.. speeds of 40-60 mph.

Now... a couple weeks ago I changed my wheel/tires for a setup that's creating more wind resistance by being wider AND more offset.. as well as weighing probably 50 lbs more than the previous setup.

I also added a good bit of wind resistance by installing a pair of bedracks that sick up above the cab.

My fuel efficiency, much to my surprise, didn't drop at all ?‍♀

Doesn't seem possible?

My new tread pattern IS much easier rolling, AND I installed a muffler delete at the same time.. but I find it hard to believe that those two things would negate the loss in efficiency I should of seen. I honestly should of witnessed a loss of 2-3mpg.

I thought I should start a thread about what kinda mileage eveyoeve is getting.

Include the type of driving you do city/highway %, driving style, gas used, if your using the auto start/stop feature and aprox engine mileage.

So I'm on my third tank of gas and tgt mileage has been improving.

  • 70%/30% city/highway
  • Average
  • 87 oct
  • Start/stop: off
  • 600 miles
  • 4x4, FX4
Computer MPG 19.5
Manual calc MPG 20.5
41,000 KMS OR 26,000 MILES
MOSTLY CITY, SOME HIGHWAY
2O19 LARIAT/WITH FORD PERFORMANCE TUNER
9 LITRES PER 1OO KMS AVERAGE
FOR MY AMERICAN FRIENDS, THIS WORKS OUT TO BE 26MPG ON 91 OCTANE ALWAYS
