Currently just on my 2nd tank of gas.

1st tank read 22.0 mpg on the dash, 22.2 hand calculated.

2nd tank is now showing 23.0 mpg....and it's not creeping up anymore. I think I've probably hit my limit (for now anyway) for my regular daily driving habits.....lots of 15-35 minute trips. Mix of highway (40%), regular state roads (40%) and back roads (20%). I also live in a very flat area.

Headed a few hours south this weekend for a softball tournament....this will be the first chance I've had to stretch it out. I don't think I've driven more than maybe 30 minutes at a time since I've had it.

This is what i got on my July 4th holiday road trip of roughly 230 miles 80% highway, keeping it mostly around 73mph and between 60-70 used 9th gear, so it's a improvement in the right direction also i had previously adjusted the dash board fuel calibration calculator, so my read outs are consistent with the manual method.

Ok. I drove like a baby for 1.3 tanks. Truck calculated at 19.9 mph which is mix of highway and city (literally dropped to 19.9 from 20.0 when pulled into gas station). And a fair deal of highway. Kept below 70mph. Used boost maybe once or twice the entire time. Otherwise had a total zen driving experience. Los Angeles east is hilly…

Pump calculated at 18.9 mph.

Avg speed calculated at 33mph using trip calc time and miles. Curious how others with higher mpg fair.

have 265 70r17 tires. And ford performance tune. Only use 91.

I don’t think I can do better than 20 unless I only drive long flat mid America highways

Almost 500 mile round trip last weekend. Mostly 70 mph with adaptive cruise and about 50 miles city and side roads. Very little wind. 25.2 mpg average. The week before averaged 15 locally pulling my dump trailer. I am happy with it.

Next month we are going to Myrtle Beach. That should give me a better idea on the MPG I'll be getting.

are your tires LT rated? I have the same size tires but not LT an they only weigh about 6 pounds more than the stock tires. I also have the front leveled 1.8" an on summer gas I'm always over 20. 21.5 to 22 on the last 2 tanks on the stock tune. I lose about 2-3 on winter gas with warming the truck.

With over two years and 22,000 miles on my 2019 XLT my lifetime MPG is 18.6. Probably 70% in town and 30% freeway. I don't race around but don't baby it either. The truck performs well with the Ford tune and I have had no problems with it. My bigger/wider tires probably affect the fuel efficiency a bit. If I take a freeway only road trip I get 24/26 mpg easily.

Mine are LT's / 6ply / Load Range C and weigh 45 lbs each.
How much did your stock tires each weigh?

I looked at the bridgestones that came on it on tire rack an their chart said 34 pounds. 45 isn't bad for LT's I've seen them well over 50. 45 might be enough to get your attention mileage wise though.

The longest trip I've done in the 521 miles so far was to go kayaking and was only 29 miles, each way, on small roads.

My typical drive is out of the driveway to the street to let Kate get her car out!

Then my obsessive driving of 1.6 miles each way to the dump! I do run to Lowe's regularly but that's only 3 miles away.

A few trips to my daughter's (18 miles) including the one towing the Land Cruiser on a U-Haul transport (about 5.600 pounds total).

So right now, my MPG is 17.1! =(
