Let's call it what it is though....

We're becoming an afterthought. There's no advertising, the truck is gonna come side by side with Bronco, and they're gonna have more Bronco orders than they can produce. (At least to start) Ranger is going to end up as a "Lifestyle" or adventure truck. Small urban fleet vehicles will still be Transit Connect and now Maverick. Those customers just wont buy a truck that's too big to be small and too small to be big. I would say that Ford "needs" to jump into the "lifestyle" advertising like Toyota is doing with Tacoma, but I'm not sure that "need" is an accurate term here. I feel that at best, Ford just needs to keep their feet wet in this area so when the Bronco sensibility fades, they're still in the game.
The fact that Ranger is (in my opinion) just a better truck, is not going to make it any more relevant.

We're just not gonna see more until they make more.

You would think that Ranger sales would bevon the big rise because of the selling price of the F150 at $20K more... That was my primary reason besides reading up on this forum on how fun the truck is to drive and upgrade....

When I was living in the Tacoma, WA area I'd see one here and there, but never with any frequency. In New Mexico, especially Albuquerque, I see a lot more around.
Yes I see a lot in Albuquerque as well.

This is the reason I went the Ranger. The f150 ended up being a mortgage payment by the time my 05 f150 started to have enough problems to justify getting another truck. One thing about the Ranger I didn't give up any capabilities from 05. Almost has me wondering if that is the reason Ford is keeping the Ranger numbers low, so it doesn't take away from f150 sales.
I'm starting to see more numbers in AO. Just yesterday I saw 4 going to work.

I see a lot more rangers now with some in my neighborhood.

I was driving home and i passed a ranger similar to mine, same color. When I turned in to my neighborhood, i saw him behind me so i slowed down so he could catch up. When he got next to mine we gave each other a thumbs up.

My neighborhood is newly built so you don't see much rangers.

I saw this one on my way home the other day. I do see more around where I live but the F150's and Rams seem to dominate the trucks around here.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Every since I started seriously truck "deciding" (about 18 months ago) I was actively looking for Rangers everywhere I went. They were frustratingly rare. Rare as hens teeth. But within the last 3 +/- months i see them everyday. Nice! Still not a ton. But they are out and about. As I've said in other threads though, no Tremors. Total of two, one of which is my SIL's. I find that a bit odd. Also, I have not seen a single FX2 yet. Plenty of FX4's, Sports, 4x4... and actually saw a non-business owned SCab yesterday. (It looked good!)

I'm really happy to see more of them on the road. Just really ready to add mine to the mix.
