I see them all the time in Houston. Not many tremors or they took the sticker off.

Here in Tennessee I see one every time I get out. Probably 11 or 12 here in my small town. On top of that several companies are using them. Pest control to hwy crews. All 3 auto parts stores have them as delivery trucks. The only truck I see more of is probably the Nissan frontier but not many new ones yet. Plus the last body style on them was around for like 20 years haha.

In North Georgia, I hardly ever see a 5g, must less a Scab. There was a special order 2021 Scab on my dealer’s lot for quite a while waiting for the headrests parts, but that has been the extent of it. Now vintage Rangers are a different story, they are everywhere.

Now that the Ranger has been out for a few years, sightings are everywhere in Sedona. I had two off-road monsters behind me today, loaded to the gills. The warden thought they looked ridiculous, I thought they looked awesome! I started to rattle off to her what they did to their trucks, and was promptly shut down with any hopes or dreams of being cool. Oh well, maybe she'll let me get some stickers......

My condolences.

In my 600 mile round trip today to Fort Bragg and back I saw one ranger near Boone NC a nice shade of blue and one towing one of those 4x4 side by side heading down I77 in the morning.

In my area of NE TN I usually see the 4 all week

Not many Rangers here in Denver metro area... F150's own it.... Probably because there aren't any to buy... Heard from dealer that they get only one per month to sell.... Seen 2 Rangers in 30 days of my new 2022 XLT FX4 purchase.

I live in SW Washington and they are around, actually I see quite a few. We recently got new neighbors from Arizona and they have a 2022 XL FX4, so my ranger has a brother right across the street!

May have been pointed out already but sales figures are readily available. The Tacoma outsells the Ranger about 3 to 1 in the USA. The F-series pickups outsell the Ranger by about 10 to 1 (and I guess most of those are 150s).

Ranger figures: https://www.goodcarbadcar.net/ford-ranger-sales-figures/
Tacoma: https://www.goodcarbadcar.net/toyota-tacoma-sales-figures/
F-series: https://www.goodcarbadcar.net/ford-f-series-sales-figures/

I see a lot of rangers here in Iowa. There are at least a dozen just in my neighborhood in Des Moines. It's maybe heresy to say this here but I find the colorado/canyon look really darned similar to rangers so I tend not to really look for them. Only really notice a ranger if I'm behind it and see the tailgate lettering.

When I bought mine in March 2021 I barely saw any, now they are everywhere here. They are pretty much all screws and the scabs are mostly xl work trucks. I don’t think I’ve seen another one exactly like mine. Magnetic XLT FX4 Scab

Since this model run came during the covid years with all the parts constraints and all , I can't wait for the new ones to start selling next year . As it gets older mine will start standing out as a rarity :)

Let's call it what it is though....

We're becoming an afterthought. There's no advertising, the truck is gonna come side by side with Bronco, and they're gonna have more Bronco orders than they can produce. (At least to start) Ranger is going to end up as a "Lifestyle" or adventure truck. Small urban fleet vehicles will still be Transit Connect and now Maverick. Those customers just wont buy a truck that's too big to be small and too small to be big. I would say that Ford "needs" to jump into the "lifestyle" advertising like Toyota is doing with Tacoma, but I'm not sure that "need" is an accurate term here. I feel that at best, Ford just needs to keep their feet wet in this area so when the Bronco sensibility fades, they're still in the game.
The fact that Ranger is (in my opinion) just a better truck, is not going to make it any more relevant.

We're just not gonna see more until they make more.

B.

When I was living in the Tacoma, WA area I'd see one here and there, but never with any frequency. In New Mexico, especially Albuquerque, I see a lot more around.
