Double check me, but its my understanding that the 4600 series is meant as a more direct OEM replacement. The 5100's provide greater travel than OEM. Having been on a recent suspension journey myself, I actually landed on 6112's and 5160's. (Coming off of Fox 2.0's) Best decision I've made...
Nice! Many years ago I was a wheel builder and did frame prep in a pro shop. Those were the days when frames were still steel, wheels had spokes, and the only carbon fiber frame was the totally price prohibitive Kestrel. Those were good times.
An excellent point. Let me also suggest that this is a great time (if not already done), to invest in some tools. Specifically, a good ratcheting crimp tool, sharp wire strippers, a decent multi meter, and a heat gun for heat shrink tubing. Also, consider using marine grade heat shrink with the...
I got my 2021 Lariat in june 2021 from the dealer with 5000 miles on it. They told me at that time that my 3yr 36K warrentee was still completely in tact. (start at 5k miles, go to 41K miles). is that true, and does that impact my ability to get and extended plan within the warrentee period?

Absolutely, F150 is the cash cow. But a company also needs to jump on what's hot. For a while now, mid size trucks have been hot. They must know, they brought back Ranger. It's just been so half hearted.
I've made this point in other threads, but it remains relevant.
If Ford doesn't build, advertise, or promote the truck, expecting to compete in sales is just silly. To then offer any assessment of product viability based on those metrics becomes ridiculous. Ranger has been (imho) a better...
OMG!
Not exactly sure what your point is, but I had a '95 Escort wagon. I loved that vehicle SO MUCH! It was a standard trans with all the bells & whistles. We went everywhere in the escort. I don't know why, but the seats where shaped so perfectly for my back & tush.
SO MANY great naps in...
You might consider using the Wolf Haus bed power kit with the pigtail. Use the pigtail to power your bed lights. You'll need to put a switch back there. That circuit behaves like your 12v power ports.
Just a thought....
Hey!
So... fun fact...
I was named after that TV character.
My mom was gonna name me Dana, but mercifully my brother stepped in. He told Mom, "If you name him Dana, he's gonna get beat up every day!". So I got Brett cuz my brother liked the TV show.
I have the JCR. It's perfectly fine and works well.
Gripes - The hardware pack didn't have the right bolts/nuts. Some of the hardware was fractional so I replaced it with metric. (I keep plenty around)
Tip - If you have spray in bed liner, have good 6mm & 8mm taps on hand before you start the...
My 2 cents...
Do nothing, just drive.
Give it a few months, then decide on what you feel needs improving. There are way more possible mods than what the average wallet can endure.
Unless, off course, if your wallet is above average...
...forget everything I just said.
