For me;
XLT model so an ignition switch bezel.
Phone charger pad
The above items were purchased from members here.
Black stainless tailgate letters
Front grille insert letters
"Tailgate Damper"!!!!
Spray in bedliner, throw an old moving blanket if hauling something needed for protection.
Since then added much more but that was the first grouping.

You can't get a bed extender that works with a spray in liner? Do they click into the drop in liner in some manner? Learning to read would help. NM! Do you have an extender suggestion? Ford or third party?

I like the suggestion for the carpet even with the spray in. Allows for moving furniture and other stuff you do not want scratched! Lots of good suggestions in here to boot.
Ford Accessories has one but I think it's the same as the aftermarket unit, I forget who makes it.
It's a factory option but not with the drop-in bedliner. Should be okay with a spray-in liner.

Here's two:

I would like to thank all of you for the great suggestions. I may reply to a few of you with additional questions, but I am so pleased with all of the interesting ideas.

Coming from the Oldsmobile forums, not only is this forum software much better, the engagement of the users is much greater here. From my experience there, I expected one or two replies and one or two other people telling those people that they were stupid to suggest these things. They would then argue about the Quadrajet being the best carburetor of all time, why you don't need to upgrade from drum brakes to disc brakes, and why points style ignition is just fine.

Again, thank you all of the great suggestions. My list and my Amazon shopping cart is filling up.

I couldn't tell if from your pics, but if you are restoring a 68 Olds you might be towing a car trailer. If so, read thru the towing section to see what you need if it has the factory tow package and what you need if it doesn't have the factory tow package.
Yes, I expect to have to tow the Cutlass at some point in time whether it is due to a breakdown, or just because I need to take it somewhere to leave it with someone to work on.

My Tremor had the factory tow package, but from what I gather I might need a Trailer Brake Control unit. I will read up on the options. Thanks!

So far I have the following.

3D printed ignition bezel ring
Livernois tune
Built right Industries bed side rack
Leveling kit
Vanish bed cover
Does the Livernois tune affect your warranty?

The Build Right Industries bed side rack looks very interesting. I will consider that for sure.

What leveling kit do you suggest?

Ah... and if you want to fill the unusable tray in front of the gearshift lever, @DirkM makes 3D printed tray with options. Not sure what he has going on, but maybe he'll chime in. It is very cool!
I will reach out to him. I like that idea!

Nice truck - welcome to the club!

Ref the steps, it depends on how you're going to use the truck. They offer no protection off-road and actually are more of problem if you're planning on getting even a little rowdy off-road. If not, give them some time and see. I'm of the right height (5'11) that they actually aren't in my way and at times are helpful. Shorter folks absolutely need them. My 6'2 son loathes them because he scrapes calf getting out and bangs his shins getting in.
Thank you! Regarding the steps, I think that I no longer have any skin on the backs of my legs from getting out of the truck 3 or 4 times, so they are definitely going away.

On other threads, I have seen people fill the holes with something and cover them with traction tape. I am torn about whether to do this or to replace the entire rail. What is the consensus here?

I am sure if the Dealer wanted to they could deny a claim for anything they can prove is the result of the tune. I am sure there are others who can better advice on this topic. That being said having a good reputation with your local service dept definitely helps. So far I haven’t needed them. I have the bed rack mounted on the RS from the wheel well back. I have the Rough Country spacers installed now. Dealer installed them by mistake and it was supposed to be the Rough Country coil overs. The coil overs are being installed Thursday. I will update on my thoughts after they are installed in the thread I made asking about peoples thoughts on them. There are several choices as for leveling kits. Check out some of the threads of peoples experiences.

Like Duke said it kind of depends what you're going to use your truck for. If you're going to be off road with it I would ditch the steps and get some sliders. Schrockworks has one that you can use as a step and still get really good protection from them.

Long term I'm going to replace them with White Knuckle Off-road sliders; in Illinois, they will rarely be used as intended but I figure if I'm replacing the factory steps it should be with something that actually protects the truck too. I think most other members are the same way of thinking OR have a legit need for true rock sliders.

Depends on what you plan to do with the truck. I replaced mine with white knuckle rock sliders to protect the rocket panels when I’m off roading and camping. I took the steps off the stock rails and covered the holes because they cut my legs and I don’t need the steps to get in my tremor even lifted.
If you want steps, you can replace them with a style of your choice and most aren’t too expensive. If you off road or wheel at all I’d highly recommend rock slides. IMO rock sliders are one of the most important things you can do to protect your truck from serious/expensive damage if you off road.

Although I introduced myself on the New Members thread, I thought I would start my first thread asking for your advice.

I just took delivery of my lightly used 2021 Ranger Tremor. The first owner was the general manager of my local Ford dealer. He just took delivery of a new Bronco, so he turned in this Ranger Tremor after 4 months and 3000 miles.

Two of the options I wanted to do myself were already done. He installed a spray in bed liner and a hard tonneau cover. Both of these seem really nice. I am uncertain at this point whether to keep the side steps, remove the steps or replace the rails altogether with something less prone to tear my skins up.

What other accessories do other Ranger owners consider "must have"? Any recommended cargo management accessories?

I like those side steps. I find my regular factory side steps to be pretty useless for actually stepping on to get in the truck.

I don't mind the steps getting in, but they seem awkward to use getting out. Perhaps I will get used to them before I get around to doing anything about them.
