I don't mind the steps getting in, but they seem awkward to use getting out. Perhaps I will get used to them before I get around to doing anything about them.
I really wish they had put a grab bar on the drivers side, would make getting in and out much easier in my opinion. Or is it just my trim level that doesn't have it?

Well, I am an avid cyclist and audiophile, too, so I love gear and know how to spend money.
You just described me. I think we might be brothers. We both own a Tremor, both are avid cyclist, and audiophile. And if you ask my wife she will tell you I really know how to buy gear. If you love to cook you might be me.

I have an Airborne Manhatten Project titanium bike - that is 19 years old. (I'm 59 so my longest weekend rides now are only 52 miles), and my home stereo is a Classe SSP Mk II Preamp and AMP5 Amp, an Aurender NH100C Music Player, a Music Hall MMF-9 Turntable, a Creek Audio Tuner, and Revel Ultima 2 Studio 2 speakers(and B&W speakers outside). Although I think I'm gonna sell the turntable because the only time I want to sit and listen to it is when I'm drinking and the only time I don't want to touch my records is when I'm drinking.

I didn't read through all the responses to your question, but the best thing I've bought so far was the start stop eliminator from 4dtech. The other things I've purchased was a real leather steering wheel cover from Wheelskin and black sheepskin for the front seats(I have the XLT), the ingnition ring bezel off ebay (well worth the $10) and the damper. The rest has been cosmetic (Magnetic Gray grill, tailgate logo and Tailgate Lettering). My next purchase is gonna be the Ford Performance Tune. Stage 3 has them for $659 and my dealership said they would install for $134. Seems plenty powerful now but the thought of 50hp more is enticing. Especially since it doesn't void the warranty if they install it.

Although I introduced myself on the New Members thread, I thought I would start my first thread asking for your advice.

I just took delivery of my lightly used 2021 Ranger Tremor. The first owner was the general manager of my local Ford dealer. He just took delivery of a new Bronco, so he turned in this Ranger Tremor after 4 months and 3000 miles.

Two of the options I wanted to do myself were already done. He installed a spray in bed liner and a hard tonneau cover. Both of these seem really nice. I am uncertain at this point whether to keep the side steps, remove the steps or replace the rails altogether with something less prone to tear my skins up.

What other accessories do other Ranger owners consider "must have"? Any recommended cargo management accessories?

Nice truck! Since I don't have them, I'd want to mess with the outfitter switches right away. Grill/ ditch/ rear lights and maybe a compressor? But that's just me.

Fair point on the usage. Although I live in Texas, I am not from here. You will see no Texas accessories, no steer horns or big stars on the truck.

This is going to be my daily driver, so anything that makes it more livable is fine, although it seems pretty well equipped for everyday use. I am a cyclist as mentioned in an earlier reply, but I am not opposed to just throwing the bike in the back. I might want some kind of bike mount at some point if I need to carry more than one at a time.

I intend to use it for basic truck uses, buying home improvement items, hauling junk to the dump, transporting furniture, etc. Having some kind of tie-down or cargo management might be good.

I am also actively restoring an 68 Olds Cutlass convertible with an old Triumph motorcycle waiting in the wings, so I may use the bed to haul car and motorcycle parts, engines, etc.

So I have to ask, why a console tray and engine cover? I will google the missing tie downs. I am sure that there is a lot of content on this I can search.
Well, I am from Texas even though I am not living there currently. I do not put stickers on my truck as it just advertises the things that I like (example is SIG Sauer stickers). I do not advertise that I am from Texas as there are some crazy people up here. I try to stay as much as possible with Ford parts so that when I have to take it in for warranty, I do not have to say that it is not Ford Parts.

2nd a rug or mat, even if you have a bed liner - allows you to haul certain things without the liner scratching them up, and it's easier to clean for some things. I went with this one -

I find the combination of a spray-in liner and a rubberized bed mat works great. Any wear, tear, or filth goes on the mat, which can be replaced every year or so, leaving the liner and the bed in nearly perfect condition.

Thank you! Regarding the steps, I think that I no longer have any skin on the backs of my legs from getting out of the truck 3 or 4 times, so they are definitely going away.

On other threads, I have seen people fill the holes with something and cover them with traction tape. I am torn about whether to do this or to replace the entire rail. What is the consensus here?
Installed Fab rails. I learned not to scuff legs on them after a couple of days. They look great, and help my wife into truck. And they make magical music with all the stones hitting them on our dirt roads around here...

Yah, we might be brothers. I am a B&W junkie. I have a pair of Nautilus 804s with matching center channel in an all B&W Marantz-powered Atmos 11.1 home theater, a pair of 805Ss with a Marantz integrated amp in my office, a pair of 704S2s with matching center channel in an all B&W 5.1 system powered by an NAD receiver, and a pair of AM-1s outdoors powered by the NAD Zone 2. I know that I could do better on the receiver and amplifier side, but I do like the Marantz sound. I also have Music Hall and U-Turn audio turntables both with Grado cartridges. For bikes, I have a Cervelo R3 and a Specialized Stumpjumper. Both are getting long in the tooth but work fine for me.

I am more likely to adorn my Ranger with stickers from local craft breweries than anything else.

What is the normal trailer hitch drop for a Tremor? I may have to tow a u-hual trailer about 300 miles next weekend, and I need a ball mount.
