I looked at their chart and then my truck. I could see where silver was too light, although that was my first instinct. The medium gray appears a shade too dark. After I get it, I will put some pics up to help people decide.
That's my thinking on it too. But sometimes those color charts just aren't what ends up in your hands...too many variables in photos. Maybe I'll just make the plunge on light gray.

Redline sent me an email asking if i wanted to donate my shifter boot for a template as well. I told them i wasn't interested but that somebody on here might be willing to. So if anybody wants one they are looking for a donor. I'd imagine they would like to get their hands on the center armrest as well.
I got the response a couple of months ago. I think they are way beyond that as they have a full array of color options for the Ranger now.

I just sent RLG an email telling them I'd be interested in a matching set if they make the shifter and armrest cover as well. The more of us that show interest the more likely they'll be to do it!

The only product they make for our trucks right now is the Ebrake boot after i sent in mine for a template. They still need somebody to donate a shifter boot and armrest cover so they can have a template made for the other pieces.

My cover shipped today. We will see how long it takes to get here. I will get some pics when I get my grubby mitts on it.

Helpful hint, if you put the boot in your cart at Redline, then wait a day or two, they will email you a code to get 10% off if you go back and complete the order.

If I was a betting man, and I am not, i would say that there are a fair amount of people who do not use the e-brake or when parking on hills, turn their front tires the correct way.

i.e. Uphill - turned left and rested against the curb (or close anyway) and downhill turned towards the curb and rested against the curb or close to it.

That and the e-brake is the first thing on when you go to park, and the last thing off when you leave.

anyway... my thoughts for Friday. Have a great weekend.
I used to live in San Diego, near Cowles Mountain (a popular hiking spot.) Street parking was available, mostly on a hill. The parking enforcement folks loved giving tickets to people parked and with their tires not turned correctly.

I used gorilla clear grip contact adhesive. It's what i could get locally. Seems like it was holding pretty strong.
If for any reason you have to replace it again, will you be able to get the glue off?

My truck is getting a new factory boot right now.

As soon as I get it back, if the boot is the same old material I'm ordering one of these.

Looks Great! :like:
Just got my truck back from the dealer (2 weeks and 2 days!)

Parking brake boot is the same old garbage all over again.

Redline boot order inbound.

Also had them address a couple of other issues and they punted on the third.

They resolved the seat clunk TSB 20-2171

My auto stop/start had stopped functioning and I suspected it was the battery.

Ding ding! We have a winner. They replaced the battery.

The third issue gripes me.

My center vents occasionally have weak output (SSM 49264) and I showed it doing it to the service advisor when I dropped the truck off.

Technician Unable To Duplicate.

My bumper to bumper runs out in December so I'm going to cycle this thing over and over until it breaks something before then.

Edit: This popped up again today but with a different symptom.

Left vents cool air, right vents hot air.

It's obviously starting to hang more regularly.

Next time it messes up good I'm going to take it to the dealer while it's doing it and have them bring the tech out to show him. I showed the Service Writer last time but that apparently wasn't good enough.
