I may have missed this; what is the wood in the bed for? Just to mount things to? I've been looking for a better solution to mount and store things, and I kinda like this option.

I have recently transitioned from plano sportsman trunks to the milwaukee packouts as a storage solution for my camp kitchen and for my recovery gear. One of the reasons was the designed in ability to mount and lock together. This requires no straps, and they are sealed cases. So the bed board is to mount the packouts. The headlights are alpharex luxx https://www.alpharexusa.com/product...a_make:215;pa_model:2290;pa_fitment-year:2305Sharp-looking truck and build, mate. Where are the headlights from? How was the installation?
Hey Eric, this is just quick change of subject, sorry. Do you noticed a condescension dripping when using your air-conditioned? All my SUVs and trucks in the past does this but not my Ranger, just wondering. The headlights are alpharex luxx https://www.alpharexusa.com/product...a_make:215;pa_model:2290;pa_fitment-year:2305
install was a pain in the butt but I've learned most thing are on this truck. There a few headlight vids on youtube that i followed.
Overland bound has a large community that do meets and trail rides and stuffI like your setup! We want to do something similar because we need a non permanent structure for the truck bed for when we have our dog and do dump runs / home depot runs etc. That's been the most challenging part.
I see your out of San Diego. We lost all of our overlanding friends when they moved to Colorado. Are there any good socal groups? We're up in Ventura County and used to do runs once or twice a year.
Nice. I like the two drawers, my buddy has it in his setup. I went with the xl box simply for size. Ive got one with my whole camp kitchen and single burner stove. The other. Xl has all my recover; stanch block, tow strap, shackles, tree saver, folding shovel, air compressor, emergency blanket, sleeping bag and my tool role. The packout are pricey but almost everything i kept in the sportsman fits and with the lock in cleats top and bottom with a sealed lid i think its worth the money. We include two Milwaukee Packout 2 Drawer boxes in our setup, currently out of a Subaru Outback. Very convenient storage. Expensive though. Use Plano boxes too.
