Regrettably, these are not the correct sliders. When I went to install them this weekend they were obviously not meant for the Ranger and the wrong item was shipped. Thankfully customer service at Shrockworks was great and they should have the correct item out to me in a couple weeks and pick these up at the same time. I should have known on Wednesday when I opened this box because the rear of the slider is flared out, and the ranger sliders do not have this.
That has to be an expensive mistake by them with that shipping cost. They need more oversite of their shipping dept.

Mistakes happen. It has to be crazy busy for them. What matters is they are fixing it ASAP. Nothing but kudos from me.

I have heard great things about their customer service, just was thinking the cost to ship those things out has to be high.

I live in Houston where they are located so when I finally replace my side steps (when my kid gets taller) I'm just going to go there and pick them up.

Bummer.

Other manufacturers make sliders with those flare outs. That way you can step up on that to secure items in the bed. But I didn't think Shrockworks made those?

They show a set on a Colorado... but I didn't see it in the drop down selections as even available? Weird.

4th of July updates! I got the Xtrusion Overland rack installed. I went with the 20" with an extra set up side brackets, and mounts to allow a toneau cover. I went with two side braces because of the height and to allow more room for attaching gear.

Just installed:

Brackets stick out a little bit to allow for tonneau cover. It looks like a lot in the picture but it really won't get in the way of anything.

With the tent on:

Since the length, from front to back, was a little longer than the max recommended distance to support the tent, I aligned the tent brackets with the cross beams on the bed rack to provide support the entire distance. The other nice thing about this height is that I am 6' 2" and I can easily crawl and sit in the bed without banging my head.

OK, second time is the charm for Shrockworks. Got my sliders the other day. A nice textured powder coat. Looks much better than the standard powder coat.

Installation wasn't too difficult. One person with a jack stand and jack can do it. The one hole that needed drilling on the passenger side was really easy, no sweat. Overall I really love the look.

Now I am getting ready for camping this week airing the tent out, etc.

The RTT is a Free Spirit Recreation High County 63" Premium. Love that tent.

The Shrockworks certainly look the best to me. How’s the fitment on the driver’s side? I see some people reporting it’s close to the pinch weld, others reporting they’ve fixed the design, and others saying they haven’t.

Looks ok. About a centimeter of space.

Went the cheap route and found some hi-lift jack mounts for my Xtrusion Overland rack. That is the great thing about this rack, the way you can make something like hood mounts for a jeep fit on it.

Also got the BuiltRight bed rack system installed.

https://www.builtrightind.com/colle...-rack-system-4pc-kit-ford-ranger-5ft-bed-2019

This should have taken 20 minutes but took me 2 hours. That is because cheap ass ford didn't put the two middle tie downs in place for the latest models. Then it got bedlined and filled the holes with bedliner that are needed to mount the bed panels. No problem I thought, I have a thread chaser. Well on the last hole the thread chaser broke off in the hole (cheap ass amazon, my own fault). No problem I thought, I have an easy out. Then the easy out broke off inside the thread chaser (cheap ass amazon, my own fault). Then after cursing and drilling for an hour I finally brought out my old Craftsman tap and die set from the 1950s (it is indestructible) and tapped that mess at a 1/4 20 and used a bolt I had lying around.

Now for the back emblem, this was super easy.

Before:

back 1.jpg

Popping off the back emblem from the housing was easy. There is a little gap on the bottom where you can stick in a small flat head screwdriver and open it a little. Then I inserted some plastic trim tools to gently pry it off. This gives you access to two bolts which hold the camera housing in place. Remove those, disconnect the camera, and it is off.

Here are the new and old camera housings side by side. You just need to move the camera from one to the other. Very easy.

back two.jpg

Finished.

back final.jpg

During this process I didn't break anything which I think is a near miracle. It really helps to have some tools made for the job. I purchased the kit below and used several of the tools to pop fasters, etc, without damaging anything.

Are you sure the rear one comes off that easily? My 2020 has some kind of nuts that I can't get undone? I had to take the inside panel off of the tail gate and still couldn't get them off??
Thanks,

I have that same jack mount on my bedrack.

Watch out, they rust.

Hit it with some paint.

And also, since your truck is named Jolene, I have to wonder...
