Well I have a big update. Finally the truck is at home. @Zach@granger crew did a great job. Highly recommend Granger motors.

2000 miles later the ranger was flawless. Average 23.7 mpg with 2WD and the Offroad Hancock's in the LT upgrade. So not bad at all.

Here is a picture in my driveway getting a bath. It was pretty dirty from the journey home.

So far just installed the OEM tremor steps and my little 2 inch stubby antenna.

Pacing myself. Plenty of mods still to add and I am towing the race car for the first time this coming Friday and I have never towed before. 3 hours each way ?

After seeing one in person a few times. I really wish I had gotten one in this color. I didn't have much of a selection. Got 1 of 1 at the dealership that day. So I had to pick from black.

First tow adventure in the books! Everything went perfect and considering it was my first time towing ever, the ranger made it easy. Look at the gas mileage pretty damn good. I kept speeds low Around 55-62ish so I know that helped but was not expecting such a high number. Also helps it was not creating much drag due to it being lower than the truck and being open.

Very nice, those are some great MPGs , did you go over the grapevine or up to 58? I just placed a deposit on a dealer ordered Cactus Gray FX2 it's already built and waiting on shipping.

Hi Jeff,

You have a great tow rig. Having a truck is a wonderful thing.
As this is your first truck you will probably wonder how did I get by without one in the past. They are so useful.
The fuel mileage shown is extremely good while towing.
Enjoy the many improvements you have in store for your Ranger.

That's a pretty big hill for your first towing adventure. Back before Jake brakes a lot of the big trucks would have smoke pouring out of their tandems going down that grade.

Well finally installed my AVS 2 bug deflector. Blends well. Just wish at the edges they had it contour closer to the hood and fender. Super easy install. Did not need to adjust my hood latch either. We worth the 55$ I got it for at Amazon.

Well the truck has gotten a complete suspension upgrade. 5100s all around with the front at the 4th collar. Adds 1.8 inches. Rear I gained 1 inch due to my BSD rear shackle upgrade.
