My First ever Truck, going to document the Journey

I have officially sign papers from Granger Ford found via the form @Zach@granger Just need to get my deposit in. Purpose of this truck is for my new Daily driver, tow my now current daily driver (modified 2013 Scion FRS) that will become dedicated track car, and get out and start camping again with some light off-roading mixed in. The 3-4 months wait time is going suck but good things come to those who wait.

My Order consists of: MY22, Cactus Gray XLT, 302A, Sport PKG, FX2, tow package and that's it. I debated going for 4x4 but for the off-roading I want to do Tires and the rear locker should be enough. I am glad I stumbled on the forums. Lots of good info. At least within the first 2-3 days break in will be over driving the truck back from Dealership to CA

Is it bad I am already figuring out parts for the Truck

I'm not loaded or anything, (regardless of how much I have sank into my truck in the last 3 months), but check out my build thread, since you're also building a 2wd Ranger! I got (almost) all the suspension finished last week.

Dave (AzScorpion) is gonna be verrrry upset that you have regulated the Damper to Stage 3.
It is his opinion that all mods should begin with the installation of a damper !
He will state that the Damper install will increase horse power, increase gas mileage, keep your Ranger clean, and your Ranger will become a "chick magnet".....all for $37.00 !

Not my first truck, i am 48, and.........
My FIRST NEW CAR!!! I have always bought used. So hopefully it last me awhile. Mine is 2 wheel drive as well, has served me awesome off road so far.
No i dont do moab, or rock crawling, but, beach, deer lease, hunting trips, and so on, just smart about how deep in i go and always have recovery gear.
Sounds like a nice truck! Enjoy, and get the tailgate damper thingy, mine is on back order. Haha.

Well more money to spend. The Ford Ranger AlphaRex LUXX Series Alpha Black headlights with the Stage3 raptor grill W/lights are going to look sooo good together with the CG paint. Damn this place!!

Said made in USA. Also supporting independent business is a nice bonus. But It should look really good on the CG color. This thing is going to turn into my new money pit but at least I will have a unquie truck to call my own.

Be patient look for deals. Not everything has to be name brand baller set ups. It also helps to think out the box or see what others are doing in different trucks or cars. I got eibach pro lift, some auxbeam lights and some wheels I patiently waited for a deal on offer up.

Not in any rush. Pretty sure I got a set of gently used Fox 2.0 fronts and rears for a good price locally to me. Gonna take it slow. I like the stock sport 17's so won't be changing those.
