Probably because that was the OP’s question?I love how most replying are only focusing on the FX4 package not not the difference of 2WD to 4WD

And yet they are talking about more than just suspension?Probably because that was the OP’s question?
YesCurious. Does the 4x4 have the low range as well? Always wondered that. But not enough to research it. ?
A regular 4x4 can even come in blue!Curious. Does the 4x4 have the low range as well? Always wondered that. But not enough to research it. ?
What?! Surely you jest!A regular 4x4 can even come in blue!
So when are we to expect a deposit? ??I won 5 bucks lol he was saying the suspension components are completely different and they used a different chassis for the Fx4 model. Negative ghost rider… He may have been thinking of the Ranger Raptor? Trying to give him benefit of doubt lol
The only difference in the suspension is the shocks and struts they come with from the factory. Other than that, they’re the same truck. There’s a few slight differences like skid plates (which my 4x4 has also, just not as robust) and the terrain management system.
Everyone gets ¢25! LolSo when are we to expect a deposit? ??
My Fx4 pkg came with skid plates, the terrain management and differential lock. Not sure what elseWas going back and forth with a buddy of mine the other day. Figured I’d post here to get some input so I can put this to rest and win $5… What is the difference between Ford’s 4x4 and Fx4 suspension? Not Ranger specific, just in general.
I'm not sure on sand mode but when I engage the trail control system in my truck I can go from roadway to damp bumpy grass to rutted up steep logging trails with loose stone easier than a kitten climbing a set of curtains when it's running from a dog.Does sand mode really disable traction control? Because I would used it daily!
Looks like I will be scouring ebay for all those upgrades soon.I'm not sure on sand mode but when I engage the trail control system in my truck I can go from roadway to damp bumpy grass to rutted up steep logging trails with loose stone easier than a kitten climbing a set of curtains when it's running from a dog.
