I really, really, really want to love this tank, but it still hangs below the frame. If I lose ground clearance, I can't run the hardest trails I like to run (5-6 out of 10). I would have loved to see a 33-34 gallon tank that was even with the frame. Time will tell.

How does replacing the tank affect the fuel gage accuracy?

From a business stand point, trying to bring something like this to market for a dead generation Ranger seems a bit of a terrible decision.

pretty cool theyre finally offering this, one of the reasons i sold mine was cause i got tired of having such a small tank for a truck.
Does it come with baffles, could have a decent hydraulic surge on hard braking or jumping. Also thats a lot of extra weight on one side that truck wasnt designed for, not that itll break it, but id imagine the ranger lean will be slightly worse now.

There is a LRA dealer local to me, but they only work on Toyotas.

Long Range America tank being installed! Should be ready to drive home tomorrow! 37 gallons. This puts me around an 800 mile per tank range. The tank doesn't sit low enough I'd be worried about hitting anything on a trail. Rock rails and differentials will be the deciding factor for trail lines.

Not low enough to worry about it, but lower than the factory unit? Lower than the bottom of the panels? I'm still interested in seeing a final product installed, good luck today.

This is a prototype tank. LRAM are using this tank to figure out bracket placement, hose length, etc. They are looking to have tanks build and in the warehouse sometime in October-December. They are working on an install video as well. The goal is to have this install take 3-5 hours.

Hopefully, the install can be done DIY. $2000 is a lot, plus shipping and install will easily be over $3000 in total. Want this real bad, but not for over $3k. If I can snag it for $2k and do the install myself I'll probably grab one!
