Nope…..not a known issue on this forum and plenty of members have done it. Ford will even install their 2” Ford Performance Fox levelling coilovers on the Ranger without blinking an eye or blowing up your warranty.

Now, do a quick left shoulder check and prepare to merge.

I did the Fox/Ford Racing coilovers and rears shocks 2+ years ago. 20k miles, no issues. I did 2 1/2" front lift. Perfect!

Don't forget...adjust the headlights, adaptive cruise and braking after the lift.

I had the Ford Performance level installed at delivery 5 years/58,000 miles ago, and it still drives fine. I like how it takes some of the rake out of the stance.

I had a leveling kit on my truck for about a year with no issues until I decided to go with a full 3.5” lift. Wife’s truck currently has a leveling kit installed and no issues either. From what I’ve read, 2.5” leveling kit is as tall as you can go before you need to be concerned with CV angles. My lift kit came with a 1” drop bracket for the differential to keep the angle the same as what a leveling kit would be. I have 60k miles on my truck and zero problems.

You shouldn’t need a drop bracket just for a leveling kit. I put a 2.5” level on my wife’s truck and didn’t touch the differential. I did swap out the upper control arms though. I didn’t like the angle of the ball joints, they looked close to maxed out. I had some extra control arms that I accidentally double ordered for my lift kit so it worked out. I don’t think that was really necessary but I figured I had the parts laying around so might as well.

Ford will put their 2” leveling kit on the ranger without adding a drop bracket so you’re fine. The only reason that’s necessary is if you’re going past 2.5”

I installed the Rough Country 2.5in struts/Coilovers around the 45k mile mark. I’m at 95,000 miles now. Zero issues so far.
