What did you do WITH your Ranger today?

Not much lately. It was a grocery getter this morning, though.

It has 1,600 miles in it now. I'm about to get some low mileage insurance via Nationwide soon. The lovely wife and I are about to switch insurance companies. I'm paying too darn much for a truck that barely gets driven.

Helped my stepdaughter move

Visited relatives and did a deadwooding & thinning for few elms while over there.

Racked up thousand miles on the odo. Took a picture of scene on the road..

Drove up to Ole Miss for move in day.
Round trip mileage was pretty good. Combination of interstate and US highway.
Mileage coming back was better because my wallet was significantly lighter.

Pulled the boat down the road to do a little fishing this morning.

Worked hard this year. The new Lariat Tremor was a bit of a reward. On vacation for two weeks. Spending most of that in the mountains. I am so fortunate to have these in my backyard.
Since getting the truck, I have swapped out all exterior incandescent lights to LED, painted tow hooks, installed black Gorilla lug nuts, black Rhino exhaust tip, RockBloks mud flaps, installed a Bak Revolver X4S, and installed a BlackVue 2 camera system with backup battery.

I have been using my truck more like a truck lately. Two days ago I hauled deck blocks, patio stones, bags of pea gravel and some angle iron and some flat iron.

Today I hauled sheets of metal roofing for my “sugar shed”. I liked the extender for helping to keep it down and for a good fastening point for the ratchet strap and some of the bungee cords.

Here is the Tremor in travel mode. We stopped to look at a glacier today. Going from Jasper to Banff took 10 hours! Anyway, got a good pic of the truck with some rocks and ice in the background.

It's autumn sales again with gardening stuff, so I went to local shop and bought cubic meter of packed soil for 30$. It's comes down to same price as bulk delivered with a "kasetti" () but is much easier to handle.

Might do few more trips to the store this week (I think they still have like 10m3)

Damn the Ranger is convenient for stuff like this.

Another Friday, another chance to get the Ranger out.

A trip to the bank, then the Walmart to get a couple things, then to the barber shop a couple towns over for the monthly haircut, then lunch at Checkers.

I moved another box turtle out of the road near the house. This is my 2nd turtle moved this week. If I can safely stop and move them, I will.

I had a cop U-Turn behind me today, after I passed him doing 107 in an 80 zone. No lights, but got on me fast and ran my plate. My cruise was set at 88kmh by then, and he just stayed behind me for 3 km or so. Even without a speeding ticket, I have illegal tint and no front plate, which are both very easy convictions.

I climbed 10,000 ft into the New Mexico Rockies today. The air is better up here.

107 reminds me of approaching Autobahn speeds . The highest speed ever clocked on it under normal driving conditions was a Prosche at 236 mph! . The supposedly top speed for for a stock 2019 Ranger is 110 mph
