When you had the Softopper over the Decked, did you have to remove the cotter pin to collapse/install the Softopper? Is the decked high enough to interfere with the hinge mechanism on the Softopper?
How many people are drilling for front bulkhead buttons, vs velcro, vs magnets? I've got the factory spay in bedliner and magnets just seem to slide all over it so I don't know if magnets will hold well.

So the module goes on that opening and the grommet is inside that opening going to the underside of the truck above frame level?
I know that the stock Tremor tubes are NOT rock sliders and are NOT frame mounted. Any idea how much weight they can support if being dragged (not dropped hard) over something?
Was this an existing grommet or a grommet you added? I'm considering ways to get ham radio power/antenna in and out of the cab and without introducing leaks from weather/watercrossings.
