For those with the camera issues, have you touched the plus sign in the upper left when the backup camera is on? I don't recall if it was there previously, but if you tap it, it turns into a minus sign button and zooms in the camera.

I suspect this may be the case, the resolution drops significantly when it's zoomed in.
Good question. I don't recall that being there last night or before the update, but I'll certainly give it a try when I jump in the truck later on tonight. It seemed like the viewing angle is the same, what you would expect with a fish eye style lens.

I'll give it a try after jumping in the truck and report back.

Finally got 119 to load and show up in 3.4. I did a slow format on my USB stick re downloaded. About 45 minutes.

My resolution looks normal. I did change the Wallpaper to the diamond like pattern which looks slightly darker to me.

Here's what I mean. Though it looks a bit smoother on camera than in person, the difference is noticeable.

The regular view definitely lost some clarity. I noticed it last month immediately after installing 3.4. Its got a bit more grainy look to it. Compared to our other vehicles, its definitely not as sharp. Nothing for me to care about but I can see it.

The zoom/magnification button wasn't selected. Glad to know its there though! That thing really brings it in close. The white circled area are my painted curb numbers. Before the update, you could make them out clearly what they were. Now, quite pixelated. Neighbors cars across the street are in less detail. Even the shadows of the leaves don't seem as clear. But its all still perfectly good to spot cars or the neighborhood kids running around.

Obviously this is an annoyance, but its still perfectly good for what it does. Just this Ranger had the clearest rear view camera of any vehicle I've driven with before, and now it's behind my wife's 17 Fusion. Only thing that changed, was the update.

On mine the Zoom button seems to focus in on the trailer hitch.

I guess it's there to assist in hooking up?

That's my guess as well. I had no idea if it was there before, but knowing it is now will be fantastic for future needs. I just don't have a receiver in normally.

I agree, that's what I use it for. Works great just zoo in when you get close.

Yes, it's been there since the beginning

I tried to get a download link on my phone for USB install and it worked. For those of you that want to download here is the link they gave me from my phone using LTE, using wifi keeps giving me error from the Ford site. Don't know how long this link will be viable. This if for XLT without navigation, with heated seats FYI.

Fixing prior post. This appears to be only for a Non-Nav. It's only for the one type of update.

Had a chance to play with Sync 3.4 while driving. I play my music from a USB, and am unable to search. Keep getting message that “browsing is unavailable now”. While the truck is moving, I get this message when trying to search:

Anyone else?

Only while driving? It's locked out now for manual browsing for the driver distraction rules. You can browse by voice, but you should be as specific as possible as the steps you can do via touch after the command are still limited, e.g. pages scrolling.

Yep, “searching” gives me that message in the photo while driving. “Browsing” the USB device tells me it’s unavailable both parked and while driving, and whether the engine is on or off.
