You forgot this part of the definition of DAMPEN:
make less strong or intense.
Never say never around here. All one has to do is bring up the damper and the page count shoots right up.??
Has anyone noticed that when a truck is "leveled" and the tailgate "dampered", that when the tailgate SLOWLY goes down, the front SLOWLY maintains level?

Amazing what a level, wheels and tires can do to the appearance. VERY purty truck, Sir.

He's got a Ranger. It's an easy concept. We all learn a lot here from others that also have Rangers.
You want to talk about easy concepts, if Ford wanted you to know something they would have put it in the manual.

I absolutely do both! Affects exactly nothing. I still have the same springs, shocks, u-joints, and everything else. Front is just spaced 2.5” higher. Where have you Ever read that you can’t tow w a Ranger w a leveling kit? Come on let’s keep it real here on the 5g forum, this ain’t the YouTube comments section..
Did you at least adjust your headlights?

Yes, but now the front end will be sticking up in the air more with a load or trailer, effecting handling. Basic physics. All else being equal, but start with front end higher, what's the result?

I'm a loser who doesn't really haul much so my rear end will never settle.

That sounded weird.
Don't worry over time the rear will sag...Both yours and the trucks. ?

My new favorite thread! Quite the amusing read. You guys crack me up
Yes,yes, yes. ???Reminds me of a time when some folks couldn't understand why anyone would want a truck smaller than f150. Mini-trucks, thats just crazy. Merica freedom ????
