"elevated cabin" LOL

whats that trigonometry stuff?
lets calculate how much higher you sit....i bet its like 6mm or something radical.
I confess that I have not done the math, I just like the look and feel, and that is good enough for me!

Naturally, being a designer, I gotta do the math. If the wheelbase length is 126.8", and you raise the front 2", the driver position would rise well over an inch, maybe an inch and a half, depending on the distance between the front wheel and the driver position. Should be well over 25mm to maybe 40mm. Might actually be enough to feel like your sitting higher.

I think somethings need to be cleared up here. First of all when you hear the term “leveling kit“ it means raising the front end up. Additionally, contrary to what some of these “experts“ say there is very little REAL WORLD disadvantages to ride, performance, or towing. OK will axle shafts (that are at more extreme angles now with a level kit) wear out at possibly 100,000 miles instead of 150,000 miles? Maybe. Does it affect your gas mileage a little? Yes. Is it unsafe or does it take away from the fun experience of these trucks or take away capacity? Hell no! Who cares if my backend is 1 inch lower than the front now when I’m towing something. Yes I adjusted my headlights properly post install.

Maybe the Government should inspect mods to see if the mods are un safe. I got it, how about Consumer reports analyzing mods. Call old man Biden out of the basement again.

Nah, this one has no legs- it'll never go another 60 pages... ;)
Never say never around here. All one has to do is bring up the damper and the page count shoots right up.??

I said no special hitch or sway control. I use the proper sized hitch and the truck has trailer sway control built into it which actually does work pretty well. No multi thousand dollar fancy hitches are required for my set up. But thanks for keeping tabs on me..

Even with my 'modest' 1.5 inch front lift the perspective from behind the wheel changed. The truck felt 'bigger.'

Does anyone have before and after pictures from installing the kit? I've been curious about this as well.

Pickup rear spring/springs settle in a short time...if you level it, and load the truck with designed weight, the tail will sag. I have never seen a 2 year old pickup with the rear bumper height as if it were new...they settle. Designed to do so; yet still will take its designed load without dragging its tail. I have owned many pickups over many decades and none have had the new truck rear box rise last longer than a year or two. Throw some decent weight in the rear of a new truck for a few months...it will settle. Measure bumper to ground with an almost empty fuel tank, fill the tank and remeasure.

Simply observe 2-3 year old pickups of any manufacturer! The harder you work them, the more natural the level becomes.

had my 2010 f250 for 10 years never self leveled it self out and yes did tow and carry heavy weight with that truck .........

Amazing what a level, wheels and tires can do to the appearance. VERY purty truck, Sir.
