Sorry for all the questions, it sounds like you've got a sweet rig regardless of mpg.

Honestly I'm having trouble believing the people claiming 23-24 mpg with their FX4. Best I've seen is around 22 mpg with 93 octane and sustained highway speeds. Around town the average almost never breaks 21.
Honestly, that makes me feel better considering my level of modification...I think my home base elevation changes + twisties are not as optimal for MPG as compared to my old home ground in Michigan where it's mostly flat and straight... ?

i can do 21 if i baby the throttle
to do better than that, i wouldnt be on any highways thats for sure

once your truck is broken in though, reset your values.
i do it monthly myself as things constantly change
leaving the average for long periods isnt going to give you a current average
Yeah I'm at 23k miles and have been experimenting as I go, including a 5k mi round trip in December. Best I've seen was actually in North Georgia when I could do a ton of coasting in the mountain roads. Maybe I'd see 23 mpg with more mountain time.

I've been resetting trip 2 at each tank and leaving trip 1 for the lifetime. Babying the throttle through a full tank might yield 22 mpg, but it just never gets better.

I live in "flat and straight" and I can't get close to 20mpg. Probably because my gear selector keeps getting stuck in S. ? I should see about getting it fixed....or not.

I’ve had my fx4 almost two years and consistently get 23-24 mpg.
