I like the ability to move those blocks around. I have a pelican case and cutting foam is a pain in the a$$.

For just that price I would just get a GFC. I’m shopping for a topper now and am in the area Seattle too, I’m ordering the GFC and going to take a road trip to the Motherland(MT) to get it.

I say go for your idea. See how it works. If it fails toss it in the back seat until something works out.

If speed is the choice could you affix it to the back so you could pull and go? Not sure how much space is available at the rear of the rack.

Why not. I grew up in Montana and support locally owned. Just because people here don’t like @Wes Siler for some reason doesn’t mean it’s not a premium product.

If you put it where the 3 red rings are wouldn’t that impede the opening of you side storage
