So much "F that" in those numbers. It's why I haven't been to AZ since 1988.
Don't judge the entire state by the southern third. Besides, it is a DRY heat. :)

We have the same dry heat here in Southern NM. And it still SUCKS! I personally left Phoenix in 1978. And nothing short of serveral million dollars could get me back there. Just didn't like the place.

We have a humid heat. It's so hot and muggy outside. The temperature today is 106 degrees with a heat index of 115 degrees. You can break a sweat and lose your breath standing in one spot because of the heat and humidity. It's no good. I believe that me and everyone else around here is Praying for rain and some cooler weather. That's what it is like in Texas at the current time.

Arkansas isn't any better. 99-103 Humidity 40-43%
I can't remember any time in my life, that I liked the month of August!

Here is the temperature reading from mine in Phoenix just after 6pm

So it's roughly the same as mine then by way of my analog thermometer. I guess that means the truck is normal and it's probably ME that's going sideways on temps.

Thanks much!

I have thought the same thing, but it has been hot here also. Another item that I just thought about is the drain for the condensation water. I have never seen any puddles under the vehicle on the garage floor. I do not think this is good. Hmmmmm

No puddles for me either, but also no mustiness or wet floorboards.
Just relatively low-ish humidity compared to some of yall and high enough heat to vaporize the water nearly immediately.

The condensate drain is above the transmission, so it will drip onto the transmission and evaporate. I don't see any puddles with mine either.

Just do the regular easy checks. Check that the condenser and radiator are clean, check the ac air filter, just do a visual inspection of the ac lines, look for oily spots like weeping shocks. Look for the easy things first. Fixes 80 percent of the problems.
